  1. Thanks Frank.
  2. My 8 yr old daughter decided that she wanted to do some Monday Night Perch Fishing instead of some Monday Night Football. Fine by me, lets go. So after the kids dug some worms, the whole family loaded up and we headed down to Hickory Creek. It didn't take long before her and Dylan were bringing them in. It wasn't fast a furious but it kept her busy. Dylan was doing a great job of coaching her. How funny it was that he didn't even take a rod as he was there to teach his little sis the finer points of perch jerking. He sounded like he was her father. Too funny. Meanwhile, I had my rod in hand to do a little messing around. I ended up with a handful of chubs two goggle eye and almost one trout from the handicap area on the north end.
  3. you got any pics of this vessel?
  4. I have many rivers and creeks that I fish in SW MO and except for the Big Sugar and Elk, which I don't float very often anyway, I don't see anyone. Of all the floating Buzz and I did this year, the only people we saw was CDC and his cousin at Ritchey. And we floated every Sunday all summer long. Whoops, there was one float, in late summer, we did see two boats on Shoal Creek. And that one kayaker that came through while we were on our October float with everyone.
  5. I have always wanted to float the western end of Spring River, just never have. We may need to do that next summer.
  6. Thanks for the report and pics wader. I always enjoy seeing what you have been up to.
  7. Works for me. Was that midnight last night or tonight? I see they either closed very late or very early.
  8. Well Sparkles, you bit, so yeah its bait. Kinda hard to talk with a treble hook in your mouth ain't it?
  9. Are you freaking serious? What do you think a mistress is and does? Last I knew that is what they called a woman that was having relations, usually fornication was involved, with a man that was married to a different woman. And you are saying that in the above quote you have from Rush, that he did not say that having that type of relationship is WORSE than trying to have homosexual relations with boys under the age of 18?

  11. I would Phil but, you are obviously blind to what we have to deal with. It appears to me as if repub123 is one heck of a fisherman. One cast and look how many he has hooked already. Biting pretty good today huh repub123. Where does one get some of that stink bait you are using?
  12. If you will stop listening to Limbaugh, Hannity, and Beck, and start thinking for yourself, you will loose that nauseating feeling that you have. There are the only ones that are pushing that agenda. Them and the fabulous guest that they have to promote their interest. And as an added bonus, you will start seeing things as they are, not as those individuals want you to believe. I heard on Limbaugh(yeah I listen on occasion but, am able to think for myself and therefore don't get sucked into his rhetoric) just today that, according to Limbaugh as it came straight from his blow hole, it is worse to have consenting sex between two people, one of whom is married to someone else, than it is to solicit homosexual sex from under aged interns. Not my words or thoughts, but your mentor's.
  13. So if I understand this correctly, The University of Illinois-Chicago is promoting the infecting of the world of radical ideas? Have you attended his class to confirm this? Does he also instruct how to make bombs? Correctly so you don't blow yourself up? I wonder what University I can get hired at so I can infect the youth of today with my radical ideas of fishing, floating, and just plain good ol' being outdoors?

Answer......... Democrat leadership (or lack thereof) Detroit , MI (1st on the poverty rate list) hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1961; Buffalo , NY (2nd) hasn ' t elected one since 1954; Cincinnati , OH (3rd)...since 1984; Cleveland , OH (4th)...since 1989; Miami , FL (5th) has never had a Republican mayor; St. Louis , MO (6th)....since 1949; El Paso , TX (7th) has never had a Republican mayor; Milwaukee , WI (8th)...since 1908; Philadelphia , PA (9th)...since 1952; Newark , NJ (10th)...since 1907. Einstein once said, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." It is the disadvantaged who habitually elect Democrats --- yet, are still disadvantaged. 15. You are right, Bush did not start the war by himself, he ain't smart enough. Cheney was pulling the strings, just as he is today. I shouldn't go so far and say that he out right lied but, as Colin Powell basically stated, the evidence was rigged and that evidence from other sources was dismissed and not added to what Bush was saying because did not prop up his position. I guess to answer your question about lying under oath, I would first need to know how many people have gone to court for having consensual sex. Morality not included. I like the fact that, as you state, as long as it is done in the correct place, the cloak of morality can be shed. To bad Bill didn't go back to her place, that in your book would have been ok.
  16. Thanks fishin. I apprieciat the kind words. What part of Spring River did you fish as a kid? My main run was Morrow Mill to Lakeside. I have spent time on everthing from 37hwy to Tuckers Ford west of Carthage. Not at one time though.
  17. Blow that smoke up somebody else's butt, I ain't buying that. You plainly stated that it was an immoral act. Where it takes place has nothing to do with morality. I am quite sure John ran right home and spilled the beans too. I am sure Bill is the only person to lie about sex. Even after getting caught. But at least it didn't start a war.
  18. I don't either, but I am sure they understood when I already answered this in an above post. Please stop, I am getting dizzy from all the spining. Round and round he goes. When he'll stop, nobody knows.
  19. I think it is a legit question. Why is he teaching? If he is the terrible human that is claimed he is and I am not saying he is not, but why are tax payer monies paying his wage? I know people and have hung around people that have had felony convictions. Does that make me a felon too?
  20. Nice. Is that what I said? How come you don't have a problem with McCain commiting adultry on his first wife? Or is that not immoral? Dang it! Where did my stick go??? Awww here it is. Whack! Whack! Whack! Aww, Fixed again. McCain is truth! McCain is right! McCain! McCain! McCain!!!
  21. BTW twosets, can you post the link to your souce? It will be interesting to see that.
  22. Yeah, I wonder how many of us under these new rules could be considered terrorist?
  23. Not at all but, thanks for trying to put words in my mouth none the less. It would be nice if Taxi would follow the rules that Phil put forth on these discussions a couple of weeks ago. That is my point. I like you spin on it though.
  24. Took a trip with my father and Dylan on Spring River in eastern Jasper County today. We didn't hit the water until 1100 and the bite started out really slow. It turned on pretty good starting about 300 and on fire from 400 to 530. Only two brownies caught today but no pics. They were in the 12 inch range though. Here is a pic of Dylan and good start to the day. Here is something you don't do or see every day. A nice river crappie caught on a tadpolly. Sweeeet! Here is a 4'14" behemouth my father caught. Dylan was holding it in this shot. Here is my father with one of the few pics he would let me take of him. This was has he was hauling her in. Here is another football hauled in by the man that taught me everything he knew about rivers and fishing them. I can't count the hours he spent teaching me not only how and where to fish in rivers but frogging, crawdading, getting leeches and just about anyting you could ever think to do on a river whether in the day light or by night with a Coleman gas lantern. I am doing my duty by passing this teaching to my son every chance I get. Tapolly's and Wiggle Wart's we on the menu today and worked outstandingly.
