  1. Eat faster. Dummy.
  2. Mark me down as a Crock Pot fan too.
  3. Guilty.
  4. I was kinda being a smart elic. One is to keep from cooking out, and basically steaming, the meat in its own juices. The other is to add liquid to counter act the amount of fat rendered out. I will concede there are advantages to both. But so is there to being a good Pitmaster. Funny! For years I thought it was crazy to put slaw on a pulled pork sandwich. Then a few years ago I had some German slaw and put some on one. I have never looked back! I still haven't put the creamy style on one, but boy howdy the German really compliments it!
  5. Ye ole Texas Crutch. I admit to using it in a pinch. I used to inject when that craze hit too. Then I thought, what's the difference?
  6. Thanks Ness! I'd ask you how you did it but, I wouldn't understand it anyway. Its actually not that hot. The chipotle peppers give it the most heat. The other three cans are pretty kid friendly. And that's coming from a guy that can't go to high on the heat scale.
  7. It's even upside down for me too! But if you stand on your head, it's not so bad. This is the only site this happens on.
  8. Prepare for the cockeyed photo. Here is what I do for pulled pork tacos. Mix these ingredients with 1 whole pork shoulder in a crockpot. Cook until fork tender. That unlabeled jar is my homemade taco seasoning. I use a good fair amount of that too.
  9. So every time I go there, her car will be parked in the Empoyee of the Month space?
  10. I dig that show too! He had another short lived show where he was traveling by motorcycle. He hit some joint and spied a Cherry Mash. After sharing his displeasure for most cherry candies, he opened it, ate it, and commenced to bragging on how good it was. He also mentioned they were made in St. Joe Mo! I too have a pork taco recipe that I make in the crockpot that I'll share. Which I may have already but I ain't going back through all these pages looking for it.
  11. I always thought that was a bit over kill. But I'd try it.
  12. I bought up the same point a few years ago. But was rebuffed. According to Al, they can't target fish like giggers can. Which I dont necessarily disagree with. But there are a ton more of these types legally and illegally keeping large smallmouth. And any other fish. It's a numbers game. But at any rate, somebody ain't getting their jig heads.
  13. Did you get their names and address so you could send them the jig heads they won??
  14. I love Chicago Dogs!! I had never heard of one until I was working for the RR in KC. We had to go to the UP Amourdale yard to get a Stacker. On the way, my conductor asked if I'd like to get a Chicago dog while we waited. I told him I had never heard of such but, yeah, I'll eat one. He knew of this little hole in the wall in Argentine KS. It was a small place on some old downtown street. Wasn't big enough to hold 10 people from what I can remember. I followed his lead and preceded to have the best dog I ever had in my life! And I've been addicted ever since!!
  15. You know, I felt pretty good as we floated off. Years of bad blood between two hotheads has been reconciled and we both have a new found appreciation for one another. Some may think he is still a dick, and he may still be to some, but at some point in life you realize its best to put it aside and be the bigger man. And this time we both were.
  16. Oh man! I used to do that too! Talk about thick and gooey! It's a little tricky and messy but put some Miricle Whip in the inside of the slices and add a slice of garden fresh tomato with the bacon and Velveeta. DANG!!
  17. I imagine I have a lot of titles I don't know about up around your neck of the woods! LOL!!!
  18. Impressive isn't it You too can be accomplished if you work hard enough.
  19. It is a special experimental grill. Not on the market yet. Very early stages of development. It will only be for very highly skilled Grillmaster's that pass a very intense specialized training. This is not your ordinary backyard grill!
  20. Hard to beat pork steaks some days. First good meal in a few days. LOL!!
  21. Boy! Talk about taking it up a notch! BTW, have grilled many a frozen steak. Awesome!
  22. Dang I was hoping you had tried them. I've always liked the box they are in but just haven't pulled the trigger. Something makes me think they just don't hold to the highest quality standards.
  23. Ha ha!!! Yes it did! We will, I promise.
  24. Some of you old heads will remember that name. Hey caused a great big stink a few years ago on a local fishing stream. He caused a lot of trouble for a lot of people besides me. I took a float this afternoon with an old friend of mine on the same river but not anywhere near his property. And about 3/4 of the way through the float as we were going by a campground, I had noticed three women and a man sitting on a golf cart. I thought nothing of it and just continue to leisurely float by. Then I heard somebody call my name. I looked over at them and he says "Are you Britt?" Now mind you I haven't seen this man in probably five years I guess. I was impressed that not only did he recognize me but he remembered my name. I guess I made quite an impression. At any rate I pulled over and went up to meet him. He was very cordial and we had a super great conversation. We both apologized to one another for the earlier confrontations. And we had a couple of doozies! But I wanted to let you all know that I thought it was very gracious of him to do what he did. He didn't have to say a word and I could have floated right on by not even knowing who he was. I was very humbled by the fact that he took the time to call me over, shake my hand and put all of this behind us. And I wanted to share this great moment with you guys that knew of the situation. I have a new appreciation for human kindness.
  25. It does. Fire is involved. Unless you have an electric stove. Next Question
