  1. I spoke to the outfitter last friday and he is sending a ton of floaters by Praters. Sounds like Prater is harassing them, cussing them, threatening them, and following them up and down the river on his tractor. I think a few of them have also been handed tickets. I'll text you my number.
  2. I hear ya. In fact, unlabled, abandoned limb lines are my number one source of lead for pouring. We really had a great time. There is a RR bridge that we stopped at and did a little jumping into the creek. Let me know if you ever hit Shoal, or any others in the area, and CD and I will meet up with ya.
  3. It has been awhile since I have posted a report so I thought I would. Corndawg and I met up with Woundedone and his son Ian for a float on none other than Shoal Creek. We met up at 9am and did a little shuttling and then hit the water. And if the first hour of the float was to be any indication of how the day was going to be, it was going to be a very busy day! But as it turned out, the bite got to be very hard to find. And that is just the way the creeks and rivers can be. On fire one day and cold as ice the next. It can even turn on you, one way or the other, while you are on the water yourself. It is just the nature of the beast. While we were doing a quick shuttle before the float, CD caught this odd ball and showed it to us when we got back. Minutes later he landed this Neosho Smallmouth monster! And just minutes after his nice fish, Dad scores one! A while latter, CD lands a bit of an odd colored Kentucky bass. The pic doesn't really do the coloration justice. Woundedone and Ian found this character. His tail was wrapped up in an abandoned trotline. I was going to stick him in the freezer. But I had a change of heart and let the brute go. It was one of the bigger snappers I have seen in a couple of years.
  4. Hey thanks guy's. It just seemed a little odd to catch one this time of year in a creek miles from the lake. Let alone 3 of them!
  5. And that is the classic arguemnt. We have to wait. Wait for what?? No time like the present to get started. If the oil companies and the government would not have got in the way in the 70's, we wouldn't be having this conversation now.
  6. Drill baby, drill! Green energy will not work. It didn't work for thousands of years before oil and it won't work after oil!
  7. No it fried it. You couldn't do anything with it. It was the wifes work laptop and it was sent back and I am sure tossed in the trash. Needless to say things were not good around here for a few days. I'm not pointing fingers on where it came from but I am not so blind as to not see some similarities.
  8. This is exactly what happened to me! I was just talking to Buzz last night and it appears that it happened to him the other day too.
  9. Well we will see how long I am back for this time. Hopefully I have things fixed. So here we go again with a Friday fishing foto and this week we have Corndawg with a Walleye that he caught in a creek on a float last week. We ended up catching three of them total. I caught one that was 20 inches.
  10. I would be glad to help you Chance.
  11. And then they suddenly went silent.....Was that a banjo???? Is that a pig I hear squealing??? Sounds like they got owned!
  12. You are making more out of this then there is, ness. It has been written here before and even been posted in some pics. Missouri Fish Unit. Or it could be like you are thinking and the "U" could be you.
  13. No, I have been on a fishing trip with good friends.
  14. It is well documented you are full of it. Nancy boy!
  15. And you are a piece of . I persoally, will float that section long before October. Since you have trouble keeping up, October happens to be when I will be hosting my next float.
  16. Sometimes you have to respect those that you want to respect you.
  17. I just did. If you weren't such a mouth breather, you would have known that.
  18. The one and only time I ever met Prater before this incident was in early Feb. of this year when Buzz and I were parked along the road looking at Shoal Creek. He came by and told us we were tresspassing and wanted to know my name. I refused to tell him so he took my plate numbers and called the sheriff, though we didn't know it at the time. We contiuded on our journey looking at different spots along the river. Later Prater gets in behind us and begins tailing us. Soon two deputies and a Hiway Patrolman pulls us over. Prater told them we were on his property(we never got out of the truck and were parked on the county right of way)and eyeing his place to rob it. After explaining to them what we were doing, we were set on our way. The deputy told Prater my name and place of employment. He and his wife then started making phone calls trying to get me fired. He was laughed at. In this latest incident, in the report, it was stated that I had been warned on numerous occasions to stay off of his property. And that the most recent incident was 2 weeks prior to this float. All of that was a fabricated lie. And I explained that to the sheriff. So there you have it. Not all landowners are the salt of the earth. I am sure though he would appriciate your continued support. BTW CWF, I never took one piece of paper with me when I spoke with the Sheriff in person.
  19. Thanks guy's. I didn't see this earlier or I would have responded. Not quite Mitch. JD knows all to well of the situation. Don't think for a minute he hasn't been following along and even commenting from time to time. But just like FAUX NEWZ he takes a grain of truth and spins it into a bushel of falshoods and deceptions to appear genuine.

  21. I am just saying that if it was my brother or your brother, we both would both want him punished. I don't think being a citizen of the US has anything to do with it.
  22. What about victim rights?? It beats the hell out of sending him back to Mexico just so he can sneak back.
  23. And I have none with you. I hope someday we do meet. It is always great to meet new people from the forum.
  24. Hey joe, I have something else you can smoke too.
  25. Then why do you keep reading it?? You certainly don't have to keep clicking on and looking to see what the latest is.
