  3. Well, really you can carry all the guns you want. You just can't hide them in your underwear. Or anywhere else on your person. But you are perfectly entitled to strap on a rifle and put on a holster. Be proud you are sporting a gun and wear it on the outside of your clothing. Don't hide it from the bad guy's. On a serious note though, I wish there wasn't such a stigma about carrying a gun. But I am afraid with the attitudes we have today, it will bring some serious trouble. If everyone was packing today, it would make the wild west of the late 1800's look like a third grade birthday party. In this respect, I am not sure how well we have evlolved. But let the record show, that I am for it.
  4. Is'nt that just what gives you your constitutional rights? A "gov't agency or entity piece of paper"?
  5. So insects is what you want to switch to??? And it wasn't my logic. It is a fact. It is you that is adamant there more female Mt. Lions in the state. And they are breeding. But you have no proof. I notice you continually skip over the spot on info Tim provides.
  6. I agree 100%! I will stand with you to back this!
  7. Very nice Jeff! The photos are just fantastic! I will make it a point to follow you blog!
  8. On paper maybe but, as we both know that doesn't hold true in the real world. You do know that right? I thought we were speaking of mamals, reptiles and such on this ratio thing. But since you threw incects in to help with your claim, can you provide a link to your source of information on this 1 million to one ratio?
  9. And yer planning on coming up here after saying that??? I can understand JD, he doesn't know any better. But you???
  10. Hope you can make it Andy.
  11. Actually, I think nature produces slightly more females. Typically one male can and will breed with many females in any one season. As for the subject at hand, here are the facts. Of the 15 confimed sitings, not counting the most recent due to the info not being released yet, only 4 are of a known gender. Of those, 3 were male and 1 female. So a little quick math will tell that is 3 out of 4. Or you can say 75% have been male. Now since it is not known what the gender of the other 11 were, it is not a good practice to make assumptions. The only epic failure is on your part to understand what you are reading. And I am not trying to beat up on you like you are not beating on the MDC but, all of the info is out there.
  12. Now that last line there is funny. I wasn't half way through that and I was thinking I would post about hiring you back. You beat me to it!
  13. I do have a little I could part with .
  14. In that link I provided, 11 of the 15 confirmed were either photos, or tracks. The other 4 had a carcass in which gender was determined. There is no way the MDC can the statment of..."All confirmed sightings have been male since. . ." And again, until evidence is discovered, such as a den or kits, you cannot say with any validity that there is a breeding pair within the borders of Missouri. And you want to be my lawyer???
  15. How could they say that? http://mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/wildlife-sightings/mountain-lions/confirmed-sightings Nothing sloppy in the journalism. Just in the bashing.
  16. Maps have been added.
  17. Read updated first post!
  18. Yep, the 17th. This a perfect trip for 17 footer! How many can you on your trailer? I can get at least 6 on mine. Hope you are able to swing it! Its looking like a great group is coming together!
  19. I have been in contact with KC. As it stands now, he will be here. It is about 3 miles. I just floated this the other day and there are no portages.
  20. I thought you knew trout were not native to this state. My mistake. I figured as much, but from you? I used to admire you.
  21. Is there one on the rivers?
  22. It is actually from the Wildlife Code put out by the MDC. And I guess you looked over part pertaining stocked fish. Which by the is how trout got there. It has nothing to do with other states. BTW...you could have labled as a Jayhawk fan.
  23. Cancel that. I didn't even realize that. We are back on for the 17th. Sorry about that guy's.
  24. Read updated first post!!!
