It's not a probably. It's a fact. Do they feel pain in the same way humans do? No. Is being hooked an uncomfortable feeling? Possibly. It's most likely not the most pleasurable experience they have encountered. But certainly not one that causes any great, or even minor suffering. It's most likely a mild discomfort at best. There must be some type of discomfort or they wouldn't be continuously trying to spit out the hook. They are not doing this because they are being tugged a different direction. And we have all seen them continue to shake their head after releasing them. Sometimes rising back out of the water. Now with this being said, I will continue to C&R as many fish as I can. It doesn't bother me in the least.

First no lib would ever wantonly and callously waste good, fresh meat. Meat that could be shared or saved and consumed or even bartered later. A lib is never wasteful of the resource. On the other hand, a conseritive who always takes more than he needs or could even use, will because he thinks that is his right! These bass are a positive sign of that. Conservatives are widely known for wasting resources. It's fun to them. And it proves what great hunters or fisherman they are. And then you have the fact that conservatives view any Wildlife Code regulation as massive government over reach. Even though they were the cause of the regulation because of their belief that the resource belongs to them only. Conservitives also believe their should be no restrictions on their method of harvest. They don't like the fact that the government limits the ways you may kill a fish. In their minds what is the difference in a hook, gig, or dynamite? I could go on but I think you can see the picture. So when would you like to get this summit going?

Are you taking the 6lb dia.? That is what I use on my baitcasters. It's 20lb test. I use the 4lb dia. on my spinning rod which is 10lb test. I know it is overkill for those little Neosho's. But I do think they make a 2lb dia. that is 6lb test dony they? Fireline did.
