In Kansas I have heard of people useing wd40 for this and as a attractant. Problem it is illegal, Saw the game warden write the ticket. Reel Magic is the best bet.

I have seen the pictures. But how bad is opening day? Do most people catch a quick limit and leave? Is there room to fish later in the day? Might join in on opening day just to do it once.

I agree with gizzardshad. If it is a flytying material that should be good enough.(no tying night crawlers to a hook) There are other things that I have seen that cause more harm.

Rich I'll have on a green floppy boonie hat don't know which rod I'll have in my hand the most in the evening it will be a 4wt tossing dries. Love watching fish rise to dries. Steve

This weekend will be my first trip to Bennett spring. I have fished Taney and the White river many times. Would welcome any advise on what flies to try and roughly where. I will only be using fly rods. No lures or bait, just my perfered way to fish. Thanks

A friend of mine just got back from Taney and told me that there is lot of work being done and you can no longer park by outlet 2. It was his first trip down and he seemed confused. also said he saw signs that said you must be out by 10:00 pm?? Help please.

Is there any tent camping on Taney? Would like to come down more often. I like to camp but don't have an RV and it looks like most campgrounds are set up for RV campers.
