  3. Anybody been out since the weather change? Fished the main lake K.C. area tues. Wind was just brutal, stuck it out for a couple hours thinking wind would really turn 'em on, no bites, and that was before the front.
  4. Exuuuuuuse me for owning a Nitro which is a Tracker Marine product and one that has served me well for the past 5 yrs. It's too bad we all can't afford the Rangers and Tritons of the bass boat world, we buy what we can, take care of it, and hope it takes care of us. I've seen plenty of knuckle heads out there in their 50K rigs who could use a course or three in fishing and boating etiquette, and who think the only time the trim switch is used is before and after trailering.Yeah the lake's crowded, we have to deal with it,go early, go late,or at night, granted you can't get in as many hours but their quality is so much better. I know this may sound cheesey but when i get frustrated with all BS that can go on out there on the lake i try to remember how lucky i am to live in such a beautiful area with easy access to a wonderful fishery-perplexing though it is sometimes-and try to stay away from the fools when their around. HANG IN THERE.
  5. Fished major creek arms between points 5-8. 12 keepers, no small fish. All spots and smallies. Good buzz bait bite, until sun popped out. Most bites came from back ends of cuts. Noticed what looked to be abanded beds with alot of 2in. bass fry schools swimming around. Water temp. 58, Will spots spawn and be off the beds already? I assume they were spot beds since my guess is too early for largemouths to have fry already at that temp., but what do I know? Besides the topwater bite I caught wart fish,#8 willow leaf, waked right under the surface, which is basically a topwater bite. Love spring fishing! Good Luck out there.
