  1. Sounds good boss, round 2 tonight anyone?
  2. is it a spinning rod?? if it is then you can get everything at fin and feather.(if your around spfld.) just wrap it on the rod just like deep diver said. easy fix.
  3. I think Eric fished between outlet 2 and the rebar hole most of the night.
  4. Pepsi. Their cans look better.
  5. hmmm... I would pass on the lefty fly line. It is the same fly line as the head start with lrfty's picture on it. ive casted the head start line and dont care for it much. if i was going to buy cheap fly line i would buy the cv2 line at the big box store...or what i would really do is go to your local ma and pa fly shop and buy some intro Rio fly line. You wont be dissapointed, i promise
  6. Being a former employee at a fly shop not to be mentioned i have conducted some tests to see if the expensive fly lines were realy worth the price. I did float tests on then and the SA and RIO fly lines were the highest floating. The Rio fly line floated the longest. In my opinion the "high end" fly line is well worth it. It lasts much longer and casts smoother. Thats my 2 cents ill get down now.
  7. He is a silent fisherman...before and after not so much.
  8. i think i have a good idea... ive got it in my 20-20 now...what time?
  9. Whos up for round two? Lets go tonight.
  10. i used to go crawdadin' all the time in a small creek by my house and also bull creek. you can set up traps if you want. i would usually use bacon in mine and check it everyother day, but catching them is the best part. an easy way to go about it is to use a small trout net and you can scoop up a bunch at the same time... or you can do er the ol fashioned way by slowly lifting up the rocks and grabbing them.
  11. Well that sounds about right. Please buy a new pair, that are not bass pro. Coming from a former emplyee (not to metion which store) but those waders tend to have those problem. I went through 4 pairs when i worked there. You can return them and probably get store credit. Just dont take your receipt, they usually take anything back. Bite the bullet and buy new ones if you want to buy one pair and have them last i would spend the money and by simms. you dont have to buy their top of the line I would suggest their L2, but they are all good.
  12. He probably wont go to jail, but i hope he got all of his equipment taken away and a fine bigger than $800.
  13. When you start getting into higher-end rods you need to cast them. Have you done that to all of them??? Which one do you like better?? Problem solved.
  14. yes it will void your warranty if you take the clicking mechanism out of your reel.
  15. I have tried both of the rain jackets you mentioned the columbia one i did not like because you cannot layer up underneath of it. The william Joseph one is very thin and will tear easy, i hate to say it but the simms rain jackets are the best just my opinoin but they will last you longer than two years that is why they have a lifetime warranty. I have owned the rivertek guide jacket for two years, i wear it night fishing so that i dont have wear a vest. It's awesome. Theres my 2 cents.
  16. DV is a great way to go i always prefer those over the new dvd camcorders. the video quality is much better on a dv. you will be happy.
  17. Your going to have "grey area" in any type of regulations. I think its more of an ethical thing. If you really have to use soft plastic to catch fish use a spinning rod.
  18. wow thats a cool website what gave you the idea?? the videeos look good!
