Will different size Trout hold at different depths.I'm asking becase the other day fishing shallow in the water was catching Small ones go Deep started catching some size. oneshot

We considerd Wood Heat but its just a Small Lot and I would have to haul wood and deal with ashes. Yea Dial Up I told my wife I would be roughing it going back to the Stone Age.Whats Bad it is not what I consider in the Boonies,I'm more in the middle of nowhere here but because here I'm surrounded by Horse and Buggy Mennonites and they never had Phone the Phone Company had to put New Line in so it can handle DSL. Fish I have whatever Truman Lake has to offer,looks like Catfish Crappie Heaven around there.I have a cove right down the hill but its such a walk and then getting by all the dead stuff,its much easier to drive to the other places I found close by.I'm 10 miles from the Dam and its nice to fish below too. Right now it is only 10'X20' so it is pertty crowded,going to build on 12'X20' two story,plus Big Porch.Last Winter we built a 8'X12' Shed for storage which helps. oneshot

Got a New Heater for the Cabin I almost froze up there last Deer Season.Getting it all Modernized got Running water even though I have to haul it,got a New Hot Water Heater,got T.V.,Fridge and Cook Stove now going to get Phone. Trying to get a Fence up so I can take my Dogs up there,going to Build on so we will have a Big Frontroom and Bedroom.Right now we have a Hide a Bed but its a pain,I don't fold it out when I'm there by myself. oneshot

I went over that way Deer hunting looked like the Shad were up in there.I'm kind of getting my Big Boat back so I might get up there in it. The deal is I sold it to my Son and he isn't able to come up with the rest of the money for it so he is wanting me to come get it on the condition he can use it if he needs but thing is he hasn't used it since he has had it. Oh talked to a Guy today and he said fishing is still slow as far as Catfish and Crappie. oneshot

Been at the Cabin in Warsaw all week.Called the Phone company and they said I could get DSL up there,I say COOL! They said they would hook it up Monday,Monday comes and goes,call Tuesday Lost our Order,suppose to be there Wednesday,no show,call them,oh its hooked up?? No its not let me Talk to a Supervisor.They will be there Thursday.The Guy shows up Thursday we are looking it over,i'm telling him how good it will be to have DSL.Oh you can't get DSL here???? Don't hook it up and who do I complain to? Well called and raised CANE! Then talked to my wife decided to get Dial Up.Suppose to hook up Tuesday. Did do some hunting only seen couple Does and three Fawns.Bunch of Turkeys.Found another Good place to drive down to the Lake and fish. Went to the Corps Office trying to find a road,had a Young Lady tell me how to find it.She said she knew all Back Roads over there.I said COOL! You want to go riding around?She said she better not.But the Info she gave me took me right to the road I have been looking for the past year for. Got back over to this area ran into some Mennonites that had lost a Wheel off their Wagon Loaded with Hay let them use my Jack.Then went got a Tank of Propane.Wife had to go to town asked if I wanted to go Trout Fishing? Sure.They was biting on Salmon Eggs,caught my four gave a neighbor couple of them. Now I'm home getting ready to go back up there after Church and maybe do some Turkey hunting. oneshot

I grew up hunting without Cameras or Stands,hunted with a Recurve Bow Wood Shafts.Learned to watch wind direction in terms of which way I expected the Deer to come from,I paid attention to my Camo even though it was very simple back then. Practice,take your Time and put your Arrow where you want it. oneshot

Anyone fish the Little Pomme de Terre River where it goes into Truman? I was looking at it today and thinking I could take my little 12 foot Jon in there do a little fishing. oneshot

I was at Barclay one evening when the Floaters were coming in,there was a couple young Guys in there with a Jet Boat not doing any fishing just playing.Yes they had the right to do this but was it right? I really didn't feel it was. oneshot

I was at the Point where the Creek comes in there. Yea I've had my Best Luck fishing that Cove where the Docks are by the Dam. Got a question I used my Throw Net got a bunch of them 2" Shad.How is it best to Bait a Hook with them? Small or Big hook,just a Couple or a Bunch of Shad? oneshot

Went to Pittsburg Park fished off the point for Catfish.Used Sony's,Chicken Liver,Fresh Shad,Night Crawlers.Not one Catfish. Did catch couple short Bass they was busting Shad Big Time if I would have run a Spinner through there I think I would have done well on them. oneshot

Well I was counting on all the run off to get the Catfish feeding.If I don't fish here I like the cove up by the Dam. oneshot

Well it looks like the Big Drop Off is below the Ramp so it shouldn't matter where at the Point a person fishes either the Point or below the Ramp should be good. Thanks oneshot

Ok where the Park comes to a point does the depth drop off slow where it comes off the Flats on the East side or is it a Big drop.The reason I'm asking was thinking of just fishing from the bank on that point or would it be better to take my Small Jon Boat around and get closer to the Flats? Oh fishing for Catfish. oneshot

No he has been working for the Outfitters down there for years spends most Summer days all up and down the river. The Outfitter he is with now has people go down to Lead Mine every so often. oneshot
