Okay,back to topic.Im going to be down tonight setting trot lines....oh I mean trout lines.One hook yellow,one hook orange,one hook yellow..............I'll be the one with the power bait water wings wrapped around my arms.

I would have sold him to bass pro for a case of powerbait.......and would still be sitting there today.

I have never hooked or seen a muskie landed.I've caught a lot of small channels 1-1 1/2 lps. out of the cat lakes.Alot of small bass 8"-10".Some small crappie.The biggest channel about 5lps was out of 35.Biggest bass about 4lps out of 7.Lots of trout 12"-15" using bait[yellow power eggs] and never seen any whites/hybirds.

Nice ones.Buschs or should I say Inbevs now is funny,I catch bigger bass out of the cat lakes and bigger cat out the bass lakes.

Good point trouthunter,never can state safety enough.Besides some may not know you should not go out on the water when it's lightning.

No I would'nt use a strike indicator with powerbait it floats too. Geen rubber leg jig and white micro jigs,but it's no secret They stock every evening after the buzzer. Good to excellent,if you know how and when to fish it Now!Im leaving in a few minutes[i'll have a fly-rod and yellow G-Lommis hat] The best time to go fishing.................Anytime

Taxi,how are you changing the hooks on the rooster?Clipping two hooks and filing down the barb,or adding a o-ring and barbless hook?Are you using a split shot to get it down in high water?

Thanks for the report on water clarity.I was there on the 9th and it was dropping out and murky.Fished jigs,notta.Orange and white worm fished deep for me too. Caught around 6-13"/14"I had most hits on the swing or tight lining after the swing.A lot of those trout schooled up at the bridge get flushed downriver[river stockers ]
