Me and my three year old went to the shoal right below Whitten, Monday for about an hour until it rained us out. I caught a 14" rainbow on a jig and he caught a little rainbow on white power bait. Got some more hits but seemed like I was doing more helping him then fishing myself LOL.

If I was going to have to guess I would say human. I went walleye and goggleye fishing this summer down there one weekend. With all the drunks that came down on Saturday I'm guessing most didn't get out of the river to take a dump if they even knew they were taking a dump . I've never seen cattle actually in the river on the Spring.

That's neat. The only part of Eleven Point I have never been on is the part from 142 to Myrtle(or what I call Stubblefield). The reason you ran into bigger jet boats down that way was because they can run 40hp Jets from 142 down to the AR line, a lot of people play down that way. I don't go near the river on major holidays. I bought a canoe at the place in Alton . They have some great deals, I also have a 25hp jet that I run to fish in too( no throwing rocks fellows). I always go up if I put in at 142 though. I have floated from Thomasville all they way to 142 at different times and have been above Thomasville on foot grabbing suckers on the Eleven Pt. and Middle Fork, actually I have grabbed suckers on Barren Fork, Spring Creek, Fredrick,Hurricane and Mill Creek also(all run into the Eleven Point). Eleven Point is a great river to live by and fish. I havn't grabbed many suckers in the past few years(too much work) but I do like to trout fish a little. Like to fish for smallies and goggle eye too. Picture of bridge that Boze Mill Spring runs under.

Brian, I don't think so. I knew Don and Judy pretty well but I've never been in the canoe rental since they sold. I've got a canoe of my own and just havn't had the need to come in. I'll have to drop by some day.

Actually I'm from the little town of Alton, MO, down by the Eleven Pt. not too far from the AR line. Thanks for the welcome.

Hi I'm a new guy live in Alton, MO and like to fish the Eleven Pt. and Spring rivers for trout, goggle eye etc. Been lurking for a while just thought I would drop a line. Would like to fish Taneycomo next time we go to Branson. Threatened to this June while we were there for a week but didn't bring my gear.
