  2. Wow .... great day indeed. "10-12 lb crap" .... now that's funny.
  3. Jerry .... I have used Troy's leaders and they work great. I don't think the color matters much. Send him a PM if you want more info. His OAF forum name is KSBASS.
  4. Right on Buzz .... this berating for keeping legal fish is getting old.
  5. The back of the Little Bull arm and the area around the Antioch boat ramp is good.

    Our Garden

My containerized patio tomatoes are looking good and starting to turn color. The Romas are coming on strong too.
  7. What are you talking about? There's no fish in your part of the state .... you're 2 hours from anything .
  8. I run the tips out the back .... never broke one in the canoe.
  9. All right RC .... glad you got out and caught a few.
  10. You gotta love a TR Report with pictures. PC
  11. RC ..... drop a red SJW off a weighted peachy king or a champagne egg. You'll do just fine.

  13. Let's go giggin' instead.
  14. Yikes .... stl .... from the looks of the gage it will be borderline fishable. It appears that it's hit its high point for this year in both discharge and gage height. Better bring something bright and heavy. I'd use some large peach or orange egg patterns and fish them under an indicator deep. I'd also bring a spinning outfit just in case. Remember the fish will be closer to the bank. The fish will be holding close and out of the current. PC
  15. Bennett Gage It can blow out ..... anything above 4.0 on the gage height is tough fishing. Monitor the gage in the link (above) .... it's currently at 2.93 .... ok to fish. If it's a slow steady rain you should be OK .... if it pours .... keep an eye on the gage. PC
  16. IMO ... Stockton. Those are Kansas flat-lander crappie. PC
  17. Precisely .... SHs, SJWs, PTs, GBs, WBs, and #28 ccks. PC

  19. Lets all swear a secret oath that we'll only eat these from now on. and maybe pair them up with some of these: Yummy .... Cheers. PC
  20. Eric, Wrench, and Flysmallie are classy dudes!!!
  21. Tilapia .... Right On DD!!!!! I've fished a dozen times at Lake Huites, MX. We catch some huge tilapia while fishing for LMBs. They'll hit a crankbait .... I always keep several for a fry and some ceviche. Very tasty. They taste much better than any bass. Cheers. PC
  22. I hear that! I used to make a day trip out of it from Kansas City ..... it's a 24 hour trip if you fish from sunrise to sunset (includes 10 hours of driving). PC
  23. Freshwater Lamprey Eel. PC
  24. The Royals have a completely out of touch owner that's just in it for the profit. A minor league system that was decimated by mis-management and incompetence. They have missed on most of their draft choices. Invested tons in players like Gordon (worthless). It will take a long time to re-build. They have a manager that manages by the book (like they're a championship team). They need to think more "out of the box" with the players they have. Earlier in the week they actually sat DeJesus out for a game because they said he had been on base too much and was tired. The team has a losing mentality and it doesn't take long for it to rub off on any newcomer. They say they're going to stress fundamentals, defense, and speed. I don't see it. Last night they hold Bloomquist on third but 1 out later they send Guillen and he gets thrown out at the plate by 20 feet. Their middle relief is pathetic. They will not use Soria for any more than 4 outs. I'm a long time Royals fan and watch or listen to almost every game. They will be fortunate if they win 62 games this year. PC
  25. Yikes .... lifestyle change? PC
