Just about every place in zone 1 or 2 can be good. I like to start up by the island in zone 2, myself. Sometimes you can tear them up on a john Deere. If no takers, try a glowball with a midge dropper (choose a color but make olive one of them). Work your way across the stream with your casts to cover the water. Try drifting deep by the moss beds and then experiment with different depths if you need to. Mend, mend, mend to get a drag-free float. During all of this it is important to IGNORE the guy who walks up beside you and throws out a big orange rooster tail and catches 3 or 4 right out in front of you. Don't get frustrated!..he is only purging out the really STUPID fish. Stick with your game plan. Also try small if you need to..size 20 midges and nymphs. That's my 2 cents. Lot of things to try. Have a good trip. May be you can get back down Sunday and Monday the 29th and 30th. A bunch of us are meeting a noon Sunday at the Park Resturaunt (behind the store) for lunch.
