Have you ever seen any world record caliber browns swimming in Taney?

monkey island is the island just above the 65 bridge. there must be a good population of browns in that area. we seem to catch at least one every weekend that we fish. including this 5 lb on corn.

i also curious about this? i have seen a couple blinds on the lower end of the lake around the gold mine and bull creek.

I see you guys talking about good local shops. Where can I find one that is close to the new "landing" area? I too would rather visit one of these shops.

I am new to this forum. what a great resource! when I was a kid, we always fished between the 10mm and rockaway beach and always caught fish. I am curious if anyone fishes the lower end of the lake below branson with much success.
