  1. Anybody fish these? I can never find any results or turnout numbers. Anybody have any info on it?
  2. I see there have been some decent sacks weighed in at Pomme lately..... I am guessing they are river fish????? Do you have to go up a river to catch decent fish or are they to be had in the main lake? What;s Pomme doing lately?
  3. This is some GREAT BBQ. Be sure you get the Roadkill Loaded Chips. Take HWY E north 3.5 miles off I44. great stuff.
  4. Anybody fish it? saw over 17lbs won, anybody know how the bigger fish were caught?
  5. Jbrandt that is exactly what we found too. main lake points and banks with deeper water. More 45 degree banks flippin baby brush hogs. must have caught about 40 fish, had a limit and only culled once. Every fish was 12-13 inches. our best 5 went close to six pounds.....and that is after catching a ton of fish. I need some help fishing deeper offshore brushpiles there or something. Gotta find the bigger fish.
  6. Wrench, best I can do is tell you that at the Boondocks flea market at Pomme (right across from White's Marine on 64B) has a 6inch Rite Hite in there for sale for $150......may be able to talk him down.
  7. anybody able to fish over the holiday weekend? are the bass moving out a little with the water going down?
  8. JEV what did you fish??? wish you would have hollered, I have a lake lot down there, we could have hooked up. only managed 4 squeakers in my tourney. tough day.
  9. 13 ft high and FLOODED...had a tourney this past weekend and it was tough....8+lbs won.....best thing I found was fishing a spinnerbait in the am and most fish came off baby brush hog in about 5ft of water.....just kept flippin....best banks seemed to be the steep banks and flipped laydowns and stickups, not floaters....on steeper rocky type banks....2ndary points to main lake...they werent all the way back in coves yet.
  10. thanks for the report......I am going down to Pomme this weekend.....with them pulling 3500 cf will this bring the muddy water to the dam? I haven't been in a couple weeks, what is the best pattern/technique now? I was thinking flipping, but you reported otherwise....great info.
  11. How are water conditions now with all the rain? JoeBass fished on Sat. what was the winning tactics?
  12. I'll be there this weekend and hope to find some big bass. Lot of little ones to be caught right now.
  13. Uni to Uni or Alberto's knot. I learned with the Uni to Uni not to cince either knot down until the very end and be sure they are both very wet. Cince really slowly. Albertos knot is easy too.
  14. I am not familiar with the minnKota, but you need to look into a Stay n Charge system. www.stayncharge.com Great product and great customer service. The All Charge will charge your trolling batteries while the big motor is running. Great customer service too, Jim is an A+ guy.
  15. +1 on the Stay n Charge.....great product and service. your problems are solved with this one.
  16. The only way to get rid of oxidation 100% is by wetsanding. take the advice earlier and go over to bassboatcentral.com for great detailed instructions. When you are done, be sure to protect it with a good wax or protectant like BTS (Bow to Stern) to prevent the oxidation from returning. It is from exposure to the sun and elements without being protected. Remember there are a ton of "ideas" to make your boat shine, but not many actually protect and prevent. A good example is Pledge furniture polish. Those shines will just be temporary and you will be back to square one in no time. Wetsand and then BTS
  17. I use the KVD Line and Lure conditioner exclusively. Not oily and petro based like Real Magic. I am going to try some McCoys mean green when I need to purchase line next. heard good things about it. I also have went to braid on all my spinning outfits and love it.
  18. There is absolutely nothingwrong with Nitro. I have my 2010 Z7 coming in about a week. I have owned a 2002 901 also. Like stated before, if everyone liked the same thing there would only be one boat option. as far as the z7, you will not find another boat that comes close to it when comparing price. Nitros quality is also drastically improved over the last even 5 years. they make as good a boat as anybody. I laugh at all the Nitro bashing that goes on because some knew a guy whose college roommate's babysitter had one....and it was junk. YOU ride and decide.
  19. Guys this is a very fun event. You are so into fishing the full two days because you never know if that next bite will be the big money winner. It just takes one fish! Great event, come fish, you never know!!

  21. had a 28 boat turnout with over 19lbs to win!! Great sack for this time of year. Eakins brothers won with brown jigs on main lake. A couple different patterns were successful. Cold, but fun to get the year going. Go to http://www.anglersinaction.com for the whole story. Derek Chance Anglers in Action Tournament Trail Stahlman Powersports
