  1. Another thing you can do to help keep your hands warm is to buy some of the boot style heat packs with the tape like side just stick two of them on your wrists and they will help keep your hands warm its not great but with gloves it really helps and there pretty cheap and reusable if you seal them in a zip lock after useing them. There no total solution but anything helps when your hands are cold. Great FIshin!
  2. Thanks im getting all this info compiled its a great help!
  3. Wish i would have caught it. Two guys fishing a tourny on Beaver this past Sat caught a 10 pounder to anchor there 6 fish limit of 22 lbs. Biggest bass ive heard of since the 8lb bass caught in the Buddy Bass back in the spring is this a sign of good things to come or a fluke?
  4. I will have some new baits and i have some older baits that will be for sale soon. If intrested contact me and we can discuss the details.
  5. Great boat ill ask around got a few guys looking for something like it. Should sell pretty fast.
  6. I havent been to Grand yet but im planning to start going there soon if anyone has some advice on what to throw and where it would be greatly appreaciated. I hear it takes about 20 lbs to win a tourny there in the spring so i hope i can find enough info to catch the Big Uns. Have a great one JCHbaitco
  7. Just went out on Beaver yesterday and there are some slips available at Prarie Creek dont know if you want to make the long trip down to the rivers from there. But it is possible just be shure to keep an Eye on your map so you dont run agound the lake is about 7 ft. Low and the stripers are biteing from what i hear. If you need more info give one of our friendly guides a call or contact me through Email thehornes3@yahoo.com ill be glad to help ya find what ya need.
  8. These arent new but ill put a few words out about them anyway. Zoom shakey tail worms may not be as good to some as others but i got a good idea that they will have their place in my boxes next season. They remind me of the old style hook tail worms with a little more action and they work great on war eagle and other shakie style jig heads. They are becomeing more redaly available as Wal-Mart has started carrying them. So next time you cant get bit on your regular finess worms try a shakey tail it may make the diffrence from haveing an ok day to haveing a great day.
  9. Those look pretty cool ill have to make some similar to that an give them a try. I have caught fish on the chatter bait style but not up here in our clearer waters guess ill have to wait till i find some shallower water.
  10. I wish i did have one of the land o lakes boats i havent gotten those big sponsers Yet but im hopeful! You can compete as an amature just join FLW and go fish any one of the tournys the range from 100 to 700 for the non boaters an all you have to do is fish and help the guy runnin the boat net his fish its a great format an some good money too. They will have events on Table Rock Lake of the Ozarks, Grand, and Beaver this year.
  11. Hope yall all had a great Turkey Day im not real new to the area been here about a year now. Got to say I LOVE it. Im going to be fishing the BFL tournys in the OKIE division next year.
