Me and my father are finally headed out, I can't wait after reading so much about this place. Awhile ago i read on this forum that Phil, told a newbie to stop by his place to pick up a map of Taney, and get a general idea for safe boating. I'm just wondering if that is still Ok, I also wanted to pick up some drift rigs, and any advice. Thank You, Jake

I'm not familiar with the drift rig....is that something i can pick up at Lillie's? Or is it easy enough to build while i'm eagerly anticipating my trip? Thanks for the help.

Hello everyone....I've been reading posts for a couple of weeks, and everyone seems very helpful. My father and I are planning on coming to Taney for the first time probably sometime in April. I'm looking for anyone's advice as to which part of the month is better for fishing. We will be mostly spin fishing, I do have a 16 foot deep V boat that we will be bringing along. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
