  1. We were just there and fishing was o.k., but not as good as last year. We really had to work for our fish. Cold front didn't help fishing. Olive jigs did well, white worked better when the sun was out, Phil carries a black and red that worked when nothing else would get bites. Red salmon eggs were too good to shy away from below Fall Creek, but the fish were smarter than me and emptied the hook 3/4ths of the time. Sunday was our best day, we fished above Fall Creek, lots of nice 15"-16" bows with great color. 3 hours of fishing and over 20 fish. They chased a Rapala but would not hit it at all. Thanks Phil, Boswell tourney went good as usual.
  2. The best route to the dam for me has always been going straight up the lake, bouncing one of Lilley's rental boats off the gravel bars and any stumps that might get in my way...
  3. Phil, this sounds like good news for this weekend! Be down tomorrow and heading to the dam. Thanks for the info...
  4. I'm a coach. That's just what everybody calls me. I hope there is some insight to the activity of the fish and the type of fishing that may work over others if the O2 levels are down. Are the fish drawn to moving waters such as the mouth of a creek or the lower part of the islands?
  5. Sounds like Table Rock hasn't turned, does this mean that the oxygen level in Taneycomo is low?
