  1. I'll give you the real reason you should stop fishing after you have your limit. If you continue to fish and hook one in the gills and it dies, then you are now OVER your limit. How many times is that going to happen? I'm sure it's not many, but I'm not very lucky.
  2. This knot is pretty easy and is very strong. Earlier this year I did some tests with different knots and my strongest and quickest knot to connect the fly was the Orvis knot. I also did some leader to tippet knot tests and the best knot for me was the Triple Surgeons knot. The blood knot tested very strong, but I'm just not very good at tying it. In the past I had been using an improved clinch knot for my tippet to fly connection and Surgeons loop knots for my tippet to leader connections. These tested very poorly. I highly suggest trying some other knots if these are the knots that you use. It also helps pass the time when it's just to cold to go fishing.
  3. "Wind Chop" good Fish can't see me as well Fish seem to bite better (probably related to the first one) I can't see the fish as well (sightfishing is fun) It can be a little harder to cast It's harder to get a drag free drift (if that's what you're going for) In the fall, the leaf litter can get a little out of hand I honestly don't mind if it's glassy smooth or if it's a little choppy. They both have advantages and disadvantages.
