Atta kid Nortrad nice work. Fished the lower section Friday and despite the cold temps and still dingy water the fish bit good. It was so nice to see water in the river again.

Kayaker glad you guys went we were there Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The fishing was pretty tough but the weather was outstanding lots of juvenile rainbows in the river right now.

Sweet Brian. Interesting with the craft fur substitute I have been digging the artic fox as a wing on a few streamer patterns but it is kind of a pain and you certainly don't get much bang for your buck with that stuff. I have tied up a dozen of these but I did the lazer dub dubbing loop figure eight the dumbell eyes to create a head the way your doing it looks like it might make a bigger profile and push a little more water. What size dumbell eyes are you using and are you seeing much of a difference between say medium and small dumbell eyes?

Thats what it looks like. Justin if you go with the first fly ditch the 200R for something with a shorter shank and a wider gap like a B10s.

I loved that too matter of fact I tied some up last night on a streamer I use alot of that just has a standard marabou tail and it looks great. I will be interested to see how it looks in the water not sure if one color might stand out more than the other or how different the profile of the palmered tail will be from one just tied in.

Hopefully Huey Lewis doesn't buy any riverfront property in Oklahoma. Welcome Ryan glad to hear there is another driftboat owner in Oklahoma. I can't help you on the LIR but there are a few Okie driftboaters who can probably help that post on here.

Rich really ties some very impressive flies. This really isn't anything more than a peanut envy with a sculpin head and some fins but I always learn something from watching his videos. Nice find Nortrad thanks for posting this.

I tried twice a month that won't fly with Momma. I shoot for once a month and have been pretty consistent with it since I bought my boat excluding the floating season.

Eric completely my fault we were on the water until dark Friday and Saturday and just couldn't get motivated to come by. The trip was good Thursday and Friday were killer for us and it slowed a little Saturday and Sunday.We need to plan a trip and get down there and fish together sometime. Did you see the guy with the wooden drifter? He built it and this weekend was his maiden voyage. It was one beautiful boat.
