  1. I just got mine back from the processors. I could bring a couple of logs.
  2. Wouldnt a cold front make the top water column colder and thus heavier again?
  3. With this colder weather coming, do you think the lake will turn over again???
  4. Come on fellas! Only one more spot open. We need a taker.
  5. Post a report on your 2fer and you'll get a real good duckydoty congrats!

  6. Your 2fer was awesome!

  7. Even when we are carrying everything we own, it always seem we need one or two more flies
  8. The shad kills are usually around Jan and Feb, but isnt that because that is when Table Rock normally turns over??? Hasn't Table Rock turned over all ready this year. If it has, couldnt that essentially cause an earlier shad kill than normal? Anyways, January is only 2 weeks away. Hope we do have a good one this year. It might help make up for all the high water.
  9. Congrats on the 2fer! That doesnt happen all the time.
  10. Thanks PC. size 18 and 20?
  11. I was wondering if anyone has seen any signs of a shad kill yet. I did notice a lot of gulls down there yesteday and some were doing some diving. Havent heard any reports of shad coming through yet. Hopefully some of this colder weather will make that happen.
  12. I guess they never shut the water off??? It was off when I was down there earlier around 3:30 and midges were coming off everywhere. How late did you stay?
  13. That was my thinking on the elk also.
  14. I had to bread several rods before I got smart enough to start buying rods with warrenties. I seldom get more than a years use out of a rod without breaking it. Warrenties definately pay off in my book
  15. JJ, is that tied with deer or elk???
  16. Nope, not a duck driver, but that does sound like and interesting job?????? I sure would like to talk to this Slim fella some time though.
  17. My license was new and it saved me 27 dollars so that made it worth it. Mine will be good till 2013 also. The one in Granite City was a little harder to find due to none of the roads up there being marked. I can say it is in a red brick building right off of Hwy 3 at the last light going south through Granite City. The building does look like a standard government building. That might help a little. I would recommend the appointment scheduling if going to the Stl area for this though. Alot of transportation workes up there. duckydoty
  18. Fish down by the boat ramp and past Point Royal. Lots of places to wade fish with one unit on down there. Look for seams in the water behind trees and rocks for midging fish. Also find pockets of still water. Throw crackle backs and soft hackles in these areas. duckydoty
  19. Check this out Sturgeon
  20. I know where all the geese have gone........My freezer!!!!!!
  21. You got it Don. They seem to be working really good.
  22. Thanks for joining guys! Beginners are definately welcome on this swap. Looks like it's gonna be a great swap. Only one more space available.
  23. Some people are claiming to catch cutbows on Taney. Any truth to this????
