i was at the miami park this weekend and i caught five. Nothing to brag about though. biggest one about 40Ibs. going back over there tomorrow.

Does anyone know a good taxidermist? My friend that came with me from Okla. caught a nice one and he is wanting to get it mounted. I think it weighed in at 8.35 any feedback would be great. Thanks

We stayed at Hickory Hollow up the Kings River. We caught six Spots around the dock and my buddy caught a 2.5Ib LM on Saturday. I think we would have caught more but our trolling motor battery went dead. I think we did alright for fishin the Rock for the first time.

Where is the best place to get gas on the lake? and where is it located at?

As some of you already know Im an Okie coming to fish "The Rock" for the fist time. Out of the responses that were given I've come to the conclusion that nothing is biting period. My main objective at first was to go to Roaring River and be one of the lucky ones to land a 10 pounder. But I would really like to catch a nice smallmouth. As a child growing up I spent most of my summer going on float trips with my parents and family on the Elk river. I always spent my days there fishing for Smalls and have had a passion for it every since. So if someone could give me some pointers on where to find them on "THE ROCK" I would dearly appreciate it. Do you think Smoke colored grubs on an 1/8 head would do me any good and if so how deep?
