    It was a nice smallmouth also. 14-15 inches. Right next to the dam.

    Thanks. I dont keep bass out of rivers. I fished the park. 2 largemouth and one smallie all in the park.

    I fished yesterday. After the rain I landed 20 bass with 7 keepers and one walleye on a spinnerbait. I caught most on a jerkbaits really close to the brush. Jig and pig worked if you could keep it moss free. Spinnerbait picked up a few also. Crappie were hard to find. Mostly males up close.

    Is there a horse power limit at the Finley river lake in ozark? I'm wanting to drop my bass boat in for a few hours and just idle and use the trolling motor. I want to make sure I'm legal.

    I had 45 main lake by the dam. 48-50 up the creeks near the dam.

    Way way too early. I would try a jerkbait or a crankbait.

    Fish today out of nemo. Slow day 3 on a megabass and one on a crankbait. Water temp is near 50 up the creek and 44 near the dam.

    For your price range get a spinning rod. I would get a Abu cardinal reel at Walmart for 39 bucks and get a falcon spining rod or a st criox triumph at academy. Total price 130 ish. Get a medium action for rivers. Medium heavy for lakes. Cheap baitcasters has hard to learn on.
