I'm taking a 14 year old boy fishing on sat. I have a bass boat. Is the power bait power ball bite still strong? Any tips. I generally smash them on powerbait below fall creek.

That lake is full of walleye willing to smash a megabass. Don't leave them alone in your boat in the dark.... The megabass will reproduce!

You wont get into anything new with a jet for that price. I'm not sure you can even get a boat and trailer for 3K anymore. For abut 6K you can get a 25 hp 16 foot boat with a trailer.

I have this week off and want to go fishing. I was thinking stockton for walleye. Any thoughts? I'll fish for anything but trout.

I have bulk spools of both and go with the yo zuri. I've used vanish segar etc and went to a hybrid two years ago. Good line for the money on the bulk spool and great all around line. Who breaks off on fish on ten lb. anyways? Unless there is a bad knot 10lb hybrid will hold any bass in the ozarks. A good reel will school an ozark bass on ten lb. heck I haven't lost one on 8lb in a long time!

Tried to fish k dock today. Blown out and muddy. Marked lots of fish but packed up and headed to table rock. Tried empire for trout in the morning, got a couple but it was muddy and blown also.

Anyone catch any bass yesterday? I fished pomme from 9-3 without a bite. I'm not a newbe and was fishing where I generally catch them. I would like to hear if anyone else found it tough as nails.

The only one I throw is the plus one any more. I have a second morgage on my house to pay for the darn things but they work!
