  1. Thank you for the information on the docks, will try both places, Daryl.
  2. Myself, son, and son-in-law will be headed to Branson the 2nd weekend in August, are there any public docks on Taneycomo that we could fish from, we will be using spinning gear, is Lilley's a private dock for guests only or can the general public fish from there, thanks, Daryl.
  3. Zack, thanks for taking the time to help me, it is greatly appreciated, looking forward to trying your suggestions, Daryl.
  4. Looking for a little help, going to Eureka Springs 2nd week in July, never been to Beaver Dam, looking forward to trying out the fishing there, I am a novice flyfisher, real passion is hybrid fishing, can you catch hybrids there or should I try flyfishing, what would you use in either case, or should I just try both types of fishing, thanks, Daryl.
  5. I am located in Chelsea,Ok., northeast of Claremore on Hwy. 66, action started heating up before that !*&%$ cold front hit, but with the warmer weather forecasted I expect it to heat up again, Daryl.
  6. drew03cmc, I have fished for hybrids here in oklahoma, I do mostly in the tailwaters of Oologah and Keystone, the gear that I use is a medium-heavy to a heavy action rod, 6.5 to 7.0 in length, with a Quantum baitcaster with at least 4 ball bearings, my favorite lure is a white zoom super fluke either on a 1/2 or 3/4 ounce jig head depending on amount of water being released, oh yeah, 20# line, I am sure there is several other ways, but this is my personal choices, good luck, Daryl.
  7. Bill, Looks like you had a great time, hopefully I can make it in a couple of weeks, keep the reports coming in and the photos. Daryl
  8. Tried the arkansas below zink dam for the 1st time, flow was a little higher than ideal, pretty slow fishing but did manage 1 small striper and 2 20 inch saugers, will be going back.
