The water at the old state park is too high to back your boat in without getting your truck in the water. If this does not bother you then it can be done. I would think that Roark Bluff would be a better location for your tournament with the water so high. -
I have hunted turkey from a boat on Stockton and found it to be fun. You cannot shoot from the boat but can easily access hunting spots this way. Check a Corp map to find out where restricted areas are such as campgrounds and State Park. Also consider where road accesses are as other hunters will come in from vehicles and not be aware of your presense from a boat. Good luck!

I fished out of cedar ridge friday and the ramp was accessable. The lake was up 11 ft. at that time. I have put in there when the lake was up 15 ft. in years past. I do not khow what the water temp. was but the water was muddy. Ran down to state park and the water was clear, around 5 ft. Not many ramps are accessable.
