Hey all. I finally signed up after reading this site for awhile and have a few questions for the experts out there. I am coming down tomorrow for the weekend with my father-in-law and staying at Point Royale. We are looking for some tips for fishing that area as we normally rent or bring a boat and fish below the trophy area. Haven't done a lot of fishing above Fall Creek and not sure what to use. We won't be fly fishing and am wondering if we should just rent a boat and try below Fall Creek like normal. Is it possible to bank or wade fish from the area by Point Royale with any sort of success? I am open to all tips folks, so please do not be shy.
