  1. Burgers, not beer Indian Point Boat Dock. Otherwise Food and drink at Ahoys or Bearded Clam(both K. City) but that's a ways from Big Cedar.
  2. How about those people who borrowed more money than the house was worth to pay off their credit cards promising the bank they will fix up their houses? There are many houses for sale here in Springfield that will remain for sale because the banks have too much invested and nobody will pay the asking price for them.

Incredible show I recommend it to any rock/blues fan. In today's high ticket price world well worth the $25. Also in the beautifully recently remodeled Gilloz theather.

Better just leave Brodie there to be the hitting bag this year. Get a real O line and then draft a QB.
  5. Is there a market in Rockaway? I told a lady in line getting tomatos at the Springfield Farmers market that there was one in Rockaway (because she was from Branson) and she looked at me as though I was crazy
  6. Next time Whodat Next time.
  7. On them cucs, onions and vinegar stuff. A little secret: salt the slices of cucumber both sides let sit then pat dry with a paper towel. They soak up the juice a lot better. Yum Yum.
  8. fly2fish I'll take one of each in a combo box and I'll even pickup the shipping
  9. I heard a report that the Busch family only owned 4% of outstanding shares. Sounds to me like they sold the company out long ago. I agree with the post that boycotting will only hurt the American worker. Makes my thirsty for a cold Busch right now. Gotta go.
  10. Unbelievably funny. Made my day.
  11. 38-50 degree fast moving water, logs, lots of boats running 40-60 mph. Perfect jet ski water. Besides wouldn't it be entertaining to watch that Jetboat fool run into a jet ski fool? If rebar is still there maybe skewer a jet ski kinda like those signs where they put a car, tractor or 3 wheeler like 100 feet off the ground
  12. Wackem Maybe the Corps will cut em down and make more brush piles for your pleasure?
  13. I was observing the shoreline from Silver Dollar City on Sunday and noticed two things 1) Water is Still High 2) Many tress around Indian Point shoreline are brown and dying Is there going to be long term detriment to the vegetation around shoreline of Table Rock due to this prolonged high water? Are trees brown and dying all over the lake? Looks kind of concering to me.
  14. I also use ladybugs. Haven't bought any for two years because the ones I last got are still around because I don't use insecticides. Also don't have any aphids. I am not the greenest person on the planet but this is a no brainer because I don't have to do anything. In regards to japanense beetles, I use the bags that trap them and have had sucess. I have heard they will actually draw in more beetles than usual causing more damage. Anyone heard this? Thanks
  15. twosets I just happened upon that trick myself recently. I also learned not to submerge the trailer completely so the boat won't get sideways. Can't wait to take them again, except maybe just one on one so I don't get worked up and everyone gets the same amount of attention. You know how that is.
  16. Would like to charge/maintain 2-3 batteries on the same maintenance trickle charger (1.5 amp) and not sure how or if I can hook them all up somehow or will I need a trickle charger for each battery? As you can tell AC/DC electrical is one of many weak subjects I have. Also my regular battery charger shorted out on my jeep hood the and clamp insulation caught fire and doesn't seem to charge anymore is it shot?

Get them all you will not be disappointed. I have seen him in concert 4 times and he rocks. You will find him in Springfield from time to time.
  19. Didn't say no generators just said ready to load the boat without 4 generators. How about two for the next eight months.
  20. Forgot to add that the kids were incredibly excited about eating their catch. Didn't much care for the shrimp stuffed grilled bow so next time I promised a fish stick like method. Maybe next time we can pull out the fryer and have a shore lunch right there at Pro Bass at the Landing won't even charge them for the seminar . Really proud of all of them and I only retied my daughter's once bc it got caught in the net. Unbelievable Boat went right on trailer first attempt also unbelievable ready to do it without 4 generators.
  21. BIGFISH I would call WHODAT for some spots at 1-800-WAD-GBLR
  22. I'm out of this topic too many whiney socialists in favor of further regulations for me .
  23. Update!!!!!!!!!!! Got on the water finally after an act of Congress at 10:00 a.m. along with 100 other boats in the very popular Monkey Island to Landing area. After no bites and 3 near misses with bridge piers, other boats and docks we headed down stream. By the way I caught 1 10" rainbow while holding one kids rods that "won't catch fish". I did head twosets advice and tried not to fish. Started with 3 "charged" batteries and finally limped through the day on one. With my luck helps to have a couple of everything just in case. Bought some nightcrawlers and headed toward Rockaway. Pulled over in a nice spot with no other boats enjoying beautiful serene Lake Taneycomo and the kids observed lots of fish on the fishfinder. My wife immediately starts catching fish on the secret jig. Rainbows just can't seem to resist them no matter where I fish on Taney. She boats 5 fish yesterday keeping two of them for dinner tonight. The daughter catches one nice stocker rainbow followed up with a 14" rainbow all on inflated nightcrawlers. The wife as expected over casted heaving the jig right into my shirt at the shoulder and I have no idea how it didn't pierce the skin. The boy then catches a 13" rainbow to compliment our nice catch that is in the process of becoming Bill Babler's recipe of shrimp stuffed grilled trout tonight. All in all an enjoyable day with everyone catching fish at my new secret spot where when I get a chance will fish for big browns and big rainbows when I get a little daddy time with daddy juice (aka head for the mountains). Only got really upset about 5 times which my kids will attest is quit good. Got to work on patience. I got the first picture before she landed the 14" The second is a picture of the catch and not release before the grill. Although I did release fish today.
  24. With my powerbait fishing trip tomorrow sounds like I have a pretty good chance at catching a rare record elusive white Trav.
  25. Oh my....can't get up off the floor
