Felt like I need to state for the public record I am not a lawyer as I was asked on a closed topic.

Pardon me for at least pointing out the law. I'm sure everyone has the same mortage payment, the same boat payment and the same exact profit margin and therefore needs to charge the same rates. From the reports posted here sometimes I would think at least some guides might well be worth more than others. I will now retreat back to other forums not Table Rock related.

Better watch that sitting around and discussing rates. At best it is unethical for you guys to set rates. At worst it is called collusion and is illegal for those in the same market to agree on prices. If you need to adjust your prices due to expenses you just do it, but there should be no need for a group of guides to get together and discuss what everyone wants to do or "set prices."

I think you guys should just stay home and start a new forum where you just sell your advice and let people use their own gas. Just kidding. Maybe require your clients to bring their own gas along with thier rain gear and lunches. Or the best idea. Sell futures on fishing trips the way gas is driven up and make a little extra dough. I guess that losing a lure or two is no longer the big expense for a guide.

Good to know all of that weed killer and fertilizer my neighbor puts on his yard every other weekend doesn't get from Pearson Creek to the testing guy at Springfield Lake.

As a thirty something I am going to cautiously listen to the Green stuff as I am afraid of those who are now going to mandate to me the what they voluntarily chose not to do. I hope they were ignorant and are not plain hypocritical. But I fear the later.

What size and type of line on that new g2 spinning rod?

Please explain to me the method, location, frequency or madness that the Missouri Department of Conservation has regarding stocking upper and lower Taneycomo. I catch less fish the further down the lake I am. Any reports of these stockers being caught in Bull Shoals after the great flood?

I think it will. I am just trying to filmilarize myself with this lake, rather than just fishing in random places like most pontoons seem to be doing. I poke fun, but I have been watching these folks catch fish. We fished some shallow moving water above Lilleys and caught some fish. Saw a few big browns surface near island above Hwy 65 about mid day saturday. Caught some "sports" in Bull Creek and I am slowly "learning" the lake. At least where not to lose my lower unit. On real positive note I found two new white bumpers stuck in the mud in Branson. Quite a weekend.

Ethanol in Gas

You can get Marine Gas from Lamar at Scotty's Trout Dock at the Landing and it has NO ETHANOL in it. I am sure you will pay a little more for it but I am confident it will be less in than the repairs in the long run. -
