Man the next two weeks will suck watching you guys report on your fishing down at the Rock! Why because I can't be there. I have a weekend trip the first weekend in May and then Vacation the week of Memorial day. As always you guys put out the best info of any website so thanks in advance for all the updates. Planning a trip with a buddy for the first weekend of May looking for a clean fish camp with a good ramp in these areas nothing fancy but no bugs and fungus. Thanks for any Help, Capt Don told me a couple places last year but those are gone like my mind thanks again. Catch the ones that bite! Bill

I don't doubt it. I was in the boat with a guy that had a go with a large muskie in Canada he lost but it was kool!!

Well the bathroom is almost done so the boat will be wet again soon, We are heading to Pomme 2nd weekend in Aug any of you guys have any tips? Will be staying out of Pittsburg on the Pomme arm it has been many years since I have fished it so any help would be great. thanks Bill J

Man its tough reading these posts, I have not been able to get to the rock since May I have to finish a bathroom here at the house( dont ever start home projects during fishing or duck season I am no rookie but f ed up on this one ) Thanks for the posts they are helpful even though I can not get down there.

I have seen many guys do the dump and drift and then get taken out to their boat by someone. I don't but lots of guys do.

I agree I have been stuck on the bank for 3 weeks, my last trip was the Rock when the grub bite was super strong( thanks guys). It will probably be a couple weeks before I get back in the Champion. I have a bathroom here at the house I have to finish up. Why I started this in the spring I have no idea. I have to be a internet fisherman for the next few weeks oh well. Catch some for me.

i'm sure the lake will look much different next year, its that crazy circle o life. Hope everyone has a great and safe weekend.

Looking for recommendations for a nice lake front resort around the K City area. We used to stay at Fin and Feather till they sold and have been staying at thunderhead at big cedar, but I forgot how pretty the k city area of the lake is! Lake view cottages with a ramp and dock must be clean fairly flat(Pop can not handle steep grades) Thanks for any help. Bill

I fished a small derby over the weekend with my bro inlaw. Hammered em on fri 10 keeps up to 4 lbs about 30 fish total. Caught two swimmer keeps on Sat around the mouth of the white, boats on every point take a number time! Caught fish all day which my bro in law had never caught so many! so that was fun. Sunday with the flat water I flipped the outside bushes down around point 5 in a creek had 4 keeps and one good one wrap me up in a bush and could not get to him, so not bad for a half day. All in all a great weekend. I only caught one LM all weekend evrything else SB and SM. Great site thanks for the info. Bill

Just found this site last night or so figured I would poke around. Seems like one of the most informative sites anything related I have ever been on. I am from the Stl area and chase bass and ducks across the state. I am not the greatest speller so forgive me in advance.
