Gentlemen, I'm just curious to your take on felt soled wading boots. I purchased some breatheable waders last year with the sock foot & had to buy boots to go with them. I had heard that if I was buying new boots to get the soles that help the grip on slick rocks. Now that I have a nice pair of boots with the felt soles I see reports that some places are trying to discontinue the use of them, because of the spread of some unwanted algae. Needless to say I'm not a wealthy man & don't have money to go buy new boots regularly, but on the other hand I love & cherish the sport of wade fly fishing & all the species of trout that I get to fish for & would never want to create a problem that would be detrimental to there survival. So I'm just curious to what some of you think. Thanks, Ben (bodyman50)

My son & I had been planning a trip to Bennett Springs on the 22nd til we saw they were cutting moss that day. I was wondering if we had a choice which would be the better day, the day before, the day of, or the day after the cutting. We travel about 5 1/2 hrs to get there, so any advice would be much appreciated. Bodyman50

Jeremy, When you were down there using the dry flies,or whenever you fish RR this time of year what size leader & tippet do you use. When you fish the lower end of the stream do you wade or just from the bank. Nice fish in the pictures. Thanks for the info.

Phil, Where did the trout cam go to. Did it bite the dust or have I just missed where it's at on the forum.

I was just curious about how to tie the drop down rig. I'm not sure if that is the proper term or not,but that's what I would call it. Where you tie a sub surface fly below a dry fly. I usually fish that way with an strike indicator, but this seemed to be a better idea at least you might have a chance catch something on top. How do you determine what size dry fly to use for the size of wet fly. Is there times when should or should not use it.Thanks for your imput.

Please bear with me I'm alittle new at this. I'm just curious why there hasn't been any current fishing report s lately for Roaring River. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong with my computer or there just isn't anybody reporting. Please clue me in, thanks.
