It's obvious you like to create your own definitions... For your edification:
Here's the MDC link:
http://mdc.mo.gov/about-us/regulations/regulations-and-permits-definitions
"Grabbing:
Snagging or attempting to snag a fish by means of a pole, line and hook manipulated by hand."
Don't see anything about hemostats or chamberpots there... A set of hemostats/chamberpot/plastic bag/lunch lady hairnet is neither a pole, line or hook...
While you're at it, might check into what MDC defines as a "gamefish":
"Game Fish:
Rock bass (goggle-eye), warmouth, northern pike, muskellunge, tiger muskie, muskie-pike hybrid, chain pickerel, grass pickerel, all species of catfish except bullheads, all species of black bass (largemouth, smallmouth and spotted), paddlefish (spoonbill), all species of crappie, white bass, yellow bass and striped bass, trout, walleye, sauger and shovelnose sturgeon."
Oh, and your chamberpot/mason jar is totally illegal.. Here:
"Fish traps, including slat and wire ones, may not be possessed on waters in Missouri or on adjacent banks. However, live-bait traps are allowed."
Sounds like you're only allowed to use your chamberpot to catch the bait.
Could you be any more wrong?
