  1. Naw, all those guys are idiots too.. The difference for me is that I have hope for your plan. And when you aren't looking I am bringing in a 55 gallon drum full of my stunted/retard Pirhanna/Crappie to stock your 7 acre pond with.. lol
  2. Naw, I didn't bail... I just headed for bed! (figured I had better get my sleep in now, lol)
  3. Welcome John! Enjoy your stay!
  4. SERENITY NOW! (or even better) SAY VANDALAY INDUSTRIES! SAY VANDALAY INDUSTRIES! Ok, Im just trolling now.. Phil, better ban me and Eric before we cause anymore trouble...
  5. Yeah, I hadn't seen this one yet.. But unfortunately anyone who reads my answers to what's your favorite" type questions is disappointed. 1/16th ounce black and white maribou jig, or a kastmaster spoon if I really want to cover some water. Other than that, the ol trusty Teeny crawl.
  6. NO POSTING FOR YOU! ONE YEAR! lol Meh, I wouldn't be mad atcha either way Phil.. If I owned a forum there are definitely two subjects I can think of that would be banned altogether!
  7. Okay, I take it all back.. lol (no new world orders for me, please) if you do decide to keep the brain tumor, just remember to keep the jar on a high shelf.
  8. The comment section below the article is the funny part. Why is it that anywhere that you can find someone bragging about an unusual story you will also find 10 people who are more than willing to discredit it? Point being: does that look like a 10 pounder to you? And what does it matter if this guy lost his fishing license for a period because he was using trout to fish for stripers? Geez, some people just can't get along in life without bringing everyone else down to their (self imposed) level with them. Sometimes you just gotta laugh.
  9. I would have to say that my favorite trout river besides my home waters is the Eleven Point River. My first trip there was truly magical (though I didn't see any ghosts, unfortunately) hmm, wonder why they didn't call it "Beaver Fever"? Oh, wait.. Nevermind. lol
  10. Oi! Welcome to the forums, glad to know ya!
  11. IS it truly sensible to you to think that the administration would turn a blind eye to the expressed wants of 65 million anglers? I'd think if they were willing to do that they would have made tobacco completely illegal long ago. Does this correlation make sense? Sorry, I don't see it happening. I'll gladly slide up to your "crow buffet" if I am wrong. Meanwhile (unless you or I are willing to run for office), the most we can do is be vocal to the people who can make that call (ie your senator or representative).
  12. LMAO! Buck's Hot Dad, you are a riot! lol keep up the (comedic) good work... "Ein Vein, Ein Richt, Ein Crappie Pond! Sig Heil, Der fishin' Furor!"
  13. Uh, that's three words.. lol but you are exactly right!
  14. (disclaimer: you are reading the words of a GM salesman, I suppose you should weigh them accordingly) Wranglers are pretty sweet, they seem to hold realy good values, the option of different tops/lifts/accessories is staggering, and they are a tried and true vehicle. Here's some things to look for: The 6 cylinder 5 speed is the way to go whether you plan on having a stock jeep or a modified one. The right amount of power and a good torque band. If you lift it, make sure the gearing has been changed out accordingly. The best option for getting a long lasting jeep is to buy new, but if you are buying used: Look for the hardtop/hard doors Look for the suspension (rather than) body lift Have a trusted mechanic check over all modifications/welds/etc one negative: Mileage sucks. No two ways about it. Ask any jeep owner for a better idea than I can honestly give. ETA: and of course, as mentioned above.. They don't have allot of room, you'd have to buy accessories to allow for extra storage. I am sure I am missing lots of good advice about the little buggers, but I'm late for work.. lol (Of course there are other options for small usable SUV's, even one of two that I might have laying around the lot.. Hint hint)
  15. Indeed, I am learning.. It was a great pic though, and I had to say something...
  16. That's pretty awesome man, I must say. And look, you also took a photo of a ghost!
  17. Too late, dun did it.. Here's the thread: http://ozarkanglers.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19671 how bout instead we do it then say we didn't.. Seems to be the only choice left now!
