Have all the COE campgrounds in NWA been shutdown? Specifically the ones below Beaver? Anyone know?

So, has the COE shut down all the camping below Beaver?

I'm originally from SE Oklahoma and there are scorpions everywhere! Anytime a house was built it would have to be sprayed because the scorpions would just invade. I have only seen one or two here in NWA. Spider population seems to be pretty high though. Particularly Fiddlebacks.

A lot of that stuff has no validity. They can't confirm it because a lot of the players are deceased.

I think they'll be fine. With Mexico having just lost, im sure they will play dirtier than normal. However, I see the US coming away with 3 pts. Lets hope klinsman puts someone up top with Dempsey, or lets him drop back a little as a CAM.

Clemson is no joke this year. It would be nice to see some team outside of the SEC throw a monkey wrench into their title winning machine. Oregon is still pretty potent, even without Chip Kelly because the system was already in place. Stanford looks solid too, but that rivalry game with USC may be a deciding factor in their bowl bid (I don't like USC, so I'd pull for Stanford) but USC isn't what it use to be. I never pay much attention to the Big 10. They tend to fade out as title hopefuls as the season goes on. As far as the Big 12 goes, I agree that OSU could see out a good season and win the conference. BUT, the Bedlam game often makes or breaks either Oklahoma schools season. With it being in Stilwater, it may be tougher for the Sooners. After OSU I see TCU or Baylor being the most difficult obstacle. It'll be a good season nevertheless.

I hate all things SEC, but its the most dominate conference in college football. I still think Mizzou and A&M screwed up moving out of the Big 12, but I get why they did it. As a life long Sooner fan, and judging their first two games, I hope they're able at least beat their rivals in Texas and OSU. Without a pocket passer that they've come to be known for, I don't know how we'll they're gonna fair. I guess we shall see once they have an actual test.

Oh the horror! Im a catch and release guy, but if youre gonna eat them then by all means keep them.

NBC will broadcast all the EPL games as well as many of the MLS games. They're really backing the sport here in the US because apparently it's growing in popularity or something ?! I despise Man U. I don't think they'll be in the title race as much this year. It'll be Man City and Chelsea. I'm waiting for Tootenham to take the crushing blow of losing Bale to Real! They'll finish midtable if he leaves, right where they should be ?! Also, MLS wise...Galaxy won their CONCACAF CL game the other day 2-0 thanks to Keane ( who, like Dempsey, could still be playing in Europe). Ole!

Yeah, I saw a few guys fishing with LIVE GRASSHOPPERS in the evening hole as I was leaving. Apparently they couldnt read that it was the Red Zone area. Aggravating.

What was the temperature? All the fish I brought to hand seemed healthy and were full of fight.

Jozy played like a madman! I hope his form keeps up. I think Sunderland got a good deal on him!

Fished the evening hole for most of the day on Sunday. Used mostly hopper patterns and caught/missed lots of fish. I love the summer for that reason alone! It wasn't crowded and I was often the only person in the area throughout the day. Finished the day up by the dam on the way home and caught two more on the hopper. Here are a few pictures.

Whether you think soccer is established in our country or not, it's good to see that this post has produced some responses. The US has players in nearly every major competitive league in the world and continues to produce quality players. That shows that players are developing talents and skills (here in the USA) to play with the best in the world. Most of them get scouted while playing in the MLS. I also see more renowned players wanting to play in the MLS in the future because of the growing fan base and salary cap increases. The USMNT will participate in another World Cup in 2014 and the USWNT continues to be the best in the world. The sport will only gain momentum as time goes on. Premiere league starts next week! Super excited! I hope Liverpool sell off Suarez or keep him benched and I hope Bale goes to Real Madrid for an inflated price and Barcelona still take la liga and do better in the Champions League!

Check the swpa site before heading out. They didn't project generation for most of the day today, but tomorrows projection won't be available until after 5. If you do end up going and are going after trout, bring midges, buggers, and a few terrestrials.

Got invited to go to St. Louis to see Real Madrid play Inter Milan on Saturday. Unfortunately, my wife is working all weekend and we couldn't find a babysitter for the little one on short notice. Grr!

I'd planned on going to KC for the Red Bulls game last weekend, but something came up. I would've loved to have seen Henry play.

Guinness International Club Championship final tonight. All but one game of the tournament has been played in the US. Clubs from England, Italy, Spain, and the US competed. Attendance for the final in Miami: between 50-60,000.

The SOT are also easier to get in and out of if you have long legs (I'm 6'4) so that was one of the appeals for me. I have a Pelican Castaway 116 and it's a solid boat, but they make nothing in the way of aftermarket seats. I've done numerous 2-3 day floats on it but it kills my lower lumbar and rear end. I'm in the market for a new one, but it may be awhile. Nice boat btw!
