I hear ya on the depressed...funny i squirted it in...and it expelled some water...and then the grease comes out so I quit Somebody told me to do it every time so ive tried to do it

Thank you both...I think Kim put the white stuff in when he installed it...I’ve been putting the regular stuff in but might buy some of the white if not too expensive i guess it’s ok to mix em...that’s what I’ve been doing

What’s that grease you guys use in jets? Marty sent me a picture of it a couple years ago...but I can’t find it...thanks

Thank you wrench...I think you fixed it...ran pretty good for about 45 minutes today...never acted like it wasn’t getting fuel. Wish the video would load...but it moves along pretty good.

Ive got muffs but I don’t trust em...other boat has a Yamaha...and was told long time ago not to run it with muffs...so I don’t use them so usually just go to the creek...it’s close but it’s not ideal It’s a jet too...I don’t think muffs would work

I pushed inlet down so I could get to the screws of needed

Can’t blow back thru...from outlet side i switched it...think I got it right now wish I had a barell to run it in...got to drive to ramp...only a couple miles...but I’m not going tonight

I’ve got the dexterity of a caveman...but I’ll try to switch it around so outlet is lower

Looks like that is inlet I had apart...not sure about getting to the other nozzle...if I take out those two screws...is the springs and stuff in there?

I had the outer part off this afternoon but can’t remember if I can change the outflow angle

Wow...that might be the problem...my supply line comes in from the bottom about 530...and the outlet is right out of the top almost...about 12 o’clock

I changed the fuel lines...and tried to make it run richer...definitely helped but I think it needs fuel pump...would kind of Peter out...give it a pump or two and right back at it do you think I should buy omc pump? It’s 125 on the site you sent me...Chinese one on eBay is 12...heckuva difference the one currently on it is omc...number traces back to 4hp. You think that is problem...too small?

Ok...thanks. I’m working on it...got the arm flipped over and moving...was bound up i took fuel pump off and looked up the number....number traces back to a 4hp hard to blow thru...and when I do...it makes a squeak type noise

I got the fuel pump and lines off....lines seem ok but will replace the fuel pump is hard to blow thru so think it might be clogged

You can see carbon build up...where it like backfires

I opened gas cap some thinking tank was venting correctly and it ran for about 15 minutes...kind of coughing and sputtering some...but ran then it died and wouldn’t restart...so I opened the choke it would start...run for a second and then die couldnt get it to start without the choke...Any ideas?

I hear ya...I saw one fuel pump that had 3 lines coming out of it that said it fit the motor...not sure what I’d do with the third line??? where would you buy the parts? what Do you think about this picture...everything look ok? Looks kind of grimy

Fuel pump is pretty cheap part...I think I could replace it. Might try replacing it and the hose...and see what happens Will keep you posted....thanks again for the help

Ya...Kim at marine center did the carb rebuild and the new plugs and stuff a couple years ago he is a good guy...but I think his helper worked on it
