    I just looked at it again...I've had a couple blues...but it looks like if you could move winch stand back about a foot...extend the bunks about 2 foot...put bigger tires and add wind bunks...it would be good.

    Crap...I don't know if I can do all that...it was about all I could do to make my 2x6 deal this afternoon. What you have yours on...is what I want...yours sits level...has the wind bunks and stuff The tires on mine are 8s...I bought some 12 inch wheels Wednesday off a guy at work but they're 5 lugs, so would need to change that

    I called tracker just a minute ago...only people open today. They said 950 for a trailer for it...said it was a single axle 16 footer...maybe 800 isn't too much for the lowe

    it sits at too big of an angle...it backs good...but wish it was further back...seems like it is way too close The Boat is cool...the motor is a 70 evinrude 18 with electric start...ru,s like a scalded ape I made the 2x6 brace in the picture today to try to keep it from twisting I think the winch is too high...Which makes it sit at bad angle...it is in the bunks though.

    Thanks for info and link. Sounds like it's pretty much a guarantee that we would have a place to hunt. I don't think the three of us could hunt out of our boat...it's too small. Its a 1436 alweld. But I just got it...So I want to use it. Are there boat lanes cut or is it pretty much restricted to mud motors? what additional equipment would be needed? are you hunting out of layoutblinds? Or standing in flooded timber? We're going back to schell tonight Thanks for all your help

    Maybe if I had your money...a new one would cost 500 plus... There isn't a plug...it's just wired direct to battery...maybe if I ran a plug I wouldn't mind the foot contrl moving around...but I don't like the idea of it moving Might move the one off my other boat...onto the duck boat...I know it has a shorter shaft. It's a motor guide, but honestly i haven't measured to see if that would help Don't really need trolling motor to duck hunt...but plan to let 16 year old fish out of it next summer when I'm not around.

    Is 4rivers the same setup as schell osage? Do they have blinds that you use...or is it a hunt out of the boat type deal?

    Can you order a shorter shaft and install head unit and motor to it? My problem is that the wire to the foot control unit is too short...sounds crazy but on the duck boat...the deck is small and I want to screw down the foot control in the middle...as close to the front as possible...and run wire to battery in back...only run one battery. Way it is setup now...two batteries...and tm battery in front hatch...and foot control isn't bolted down...if I move battery to back...and run the wire...I don't want the foot control to move Sounds stupid but it's a problem

    Minn kota endura...bow mount. I would like to cut about 8 inch off shaft...it's a plastic shaft. any body ever done it? Any tips?

    I think it's pretty cool...flexes when youngest walks on it...small foot...but not so much when I do...my foot big enough to at least catch some of stringer

    Bought new to me boat...and put father in laws old evinrude on it...but have to get motor going...was running when it went into barn 15 years ago, so hopefully won't take much to get er going

    We did great...got 7 total...oldest got his limit...youngest got one...dad and the boys buddy blanked...I missed 4 that I shouldn't have thanks to buck and Marty for helping us so much to get ready...and special thanks to Chris and his buddy from stl area...for helping us pick our spot this morning... youngest drew 7...we hunted in f1. 3 people drew before us. F pool was hot. We could have gotten more but I am tickled with 7 honestly We'll be back...it was fun. but I'm bringing a Dale Jr call next time

    Yes sir...I sure do. Thanks Ihear ya on the jinx.I will holler if I need some help...me and my 2 boys...and a buddy's son. So I am a little on edge with having a guest...but it should be fun. If I can get this time under my belt...we'll be good to go more often. Might try to get one of the walk to spots and leave boat on the truck...
