Went down for a couple of hours last night and all I can say is WOW! It doesn't even look like the same lake with all of that water in it. Only managed one bite in two hours of pouring rain.
Thanks kind of what I was guessing but NOT what I was hoping to here. lol. I have a small club event this weekend down there and figure it will be tough. I haven't been down there since the Anglers in Action on June 13th.
We had pretty much the same results on Pomme Saturday. Ended up with a limit but only had 9.5lbs. It took over 20 to win. I have no idea how they caught them, but there were some prett good bags weighed in.
Have the bass stacked up on the main lake points yet with the COE pulling all this water? I have been spending all of my time on Pomme lately so I haven't had a chance to hit Truman in a while.
I'm a weapons loader on the A-10's at Whiteman. We will be hosting a free airshow here the weekend of June 13-14. Come on out get an up close and personal look if you want. The Air Force Thunderbirds will be here as well along with numerous other aircraft. I on the other hand will be fishing the AiA derby on Pomme that weekend.
Is the Hermitage Landing Ramp the one in the Hermitage State Park in Little Button Cove? I have a club tournament this weekend and I'm not exactly sure of the location of the takeoff.
Man I feel your pain. I fished from the Gravois to the Glaize for 2 solid days this weekend and never boated a keeper. I just saw that the winners of the OMTT on Saturday caught their fish on jigs in the Hurricane Deck area in 10 feet of water.
Good luck.
Did you put in at the Gravois Access? I am planning a trip down there this weekend but with the water being so low, I wasn't sure which ramp would be best to launch from.
