Morning everyone! Just went from 6:00-9:00. Was going to fish for blacks, until the whites were busting so much that my buddy made me stop lol. Caught 40 or so in about an hour and a half. Threw spooks. Put in at Hickory and drove around to just outside three fingers.
  7. Last week, while fishing the Oakley Big Bass on Grand Lake, the only fish I caught over 2 pounds were on Mr. Frank's Wobble Head jigs paired with either a full size lizard type bait ("Yum" brand, can't remember the name of it) in dirty water or a Hog Head Jr (clear water).

  9. Geez, really? Name one paint job "Pole Dancer" and all the blame goes my way...
  10. I don't know what was more fun this morning - getting your play by play from the lake of Jason talking about pole dancing and showing his new "Personal Best" - blend of coffee lol

  12. I put this in the Beaver forum because I live in Sonora and that's the closest like to me.... Anyhoo, I have only used a frog a couple times, but that was in Florida. A buddy here at home said the best way to practice Froggin' is to find a pond with a little cover and some bass - lots of bites will helpe learn timing. So.... Anyone have a pond full of bass that they wouldn't mind to share with their buddy Joe??

  15. Hey guys, I'm headed to Wolf Creek in a couple weeks. Going to give the Oakley Big Bass deal a shot. Anyone know of lodging or maybe a camp site close to Wolf Creek that's not terribly expensive? Thank you

Holy smoke that is bad. When we were fishing the other day together, I went to the other side of the channel just to get out of the way. And we were just goofing around fun fishing! This may be one of the many reasons I'll never do well in tournaments - I just won't cut in front of someone - just not right.

156 boats. I was in the tournament. The 4th time I got cut off, I left (at noon). I figure it's better to bite my tounge and go home than to throw a fit and be a bad example to any young ones that may be watching.
  19. Partial eclipse. Not enough area to be considered a fulloon
  20. I resemble that remark!
  21. 4 days of fishing a beautiful lake in the Beast makes a man tired, but happy! I painted a popper tin hopes of luring a big girl during the Oakley Big Bass last weekend. I told my wife when I returned to the condo that evening that "Even the turles like my perch bait honey" LOL! On Sunday, I kept seeing this bird - I am not sure what it is, but it is beautiful Finally, thanks to the OBBT Staff - the rods this year are really cool!
  22. Mark you guys put on a great event! See you in a few weeks!
