    Humbled...

We had 10.34 pounds. One spot away from getting our money back at least. No real pattern. We caught 6 keepers mostly on a big worm. It was tough.
  3. Bite was good. Crappie seemed to be better mid day??? It was hot. Had 20 or so crappie, about 10 cats, and more whites then we wanted to keep. A lot of fun.
  4. Best its been in a quite a while for me last night. Had 15.05 lbs with a 5 and 4. Big worm and salt craw time. They are moving deeper for sure but most of our fish came in 14-16 foot. It was a fun night.
  5. Was at the Masters Island Friday. No action whatsoever. Shad everywhere. weird.
  6. Best time to fish a tournament is when the fishing is really tough. Puts everyone on an even playing field. I fished a maw and pa tournament on Stockton the last time the lake was this high. 7am to 2pm. I had exactly 3 bites all day.Caught a 12 inch Kenn and at 12:30 I caught a 5.75lb largemouth. Took my wife three passes to net the fish and I am glad she finally did. We won the whole tournament with that fish. With the big bass money I think we took home 400 dollars. I like tournaments when the fishing is tough. Then I have a chance.
  7. I would start at Stockton if you really wanted a chance at Walleye. I know they catch them on Table rock but you really have to know what you are doing.
  8. Crickets......
  9. Any one try it? If so did you have any success?
  10. Highpoint
  11. Was pretty good. About half of the crappie were spawned out. Most came at 16 foot close to the bottom. Minnows. Did have a monster walleye that released himself early. Highpoint area.
  12. They Better bring an air wrench to get mine off. I had a flat the other day and those bad boys were not coming off!!!
  13. Park on the road ditch and walk across the corp field. Problem solved.
  14. A lot slower than yesterday. Ended up with 10 crappie and whites. Rain must have messed them up. JD was happy.
  15. Had a good day. Whites are running hard core above Taylor Bridge, Saw a lot of females with males following heading up. Caught my limit in about 2 hours. Then dropped the boat in at high point this afternoon. Had 15 nice crappie in about a hour. They were suspended in about 10 ft of water. Staging to head to the bank. Every fish was a male. Should be good for another week at least.

  17. Usually flats just off the channel. Caught ours on a bone colored slider. White rooster tail is a good bait as well.
  18. Flat Creek Area
  19. Its about to break loose. James River yesterday. Little slow but the ones we caught were nice.
  20. They don't leave much room to turn around either. Its a crowded mees
  21. On the live broadcast they made a huge deal about the Blue Herring and the bass following them around make it hard to fish. Do Table Rock bass have similar habits with shad?
  22. and struggled. Man it was tough for me. I tried about everything I could think of. The only success I had came two nights ago on a couple of floats back down through the trophy area. Caught a few on a olive jig. Did manage to hook this fish. Wish I cold have got the kids on some fish but they just were not cooperating, the fish that is. lol
