Gentlemen, Hello, I'm looking to head to LOZ this weekend. Most likely plan to put in at Larry R. Gale access. I plan to hopefully catch some crappie off the docks or wherever they may be. In past experiences the docks have proven to be good this time of year. Just looking to see if anyone out there has been after the crappie yet? Also, I'm concerned about the water conditions after all the rain. Any reports and/or information will be greatly appreciated and my report will follow upon my return from the lake. Thanks for the report. Did you all get pounded with the storms last night. Supposedly we may be in for a few more tonight but tomorrow is to be clear and sunny; just what I like to push those crappie up under those shady docks! I'll be on the water early tommorrow morning. I'll let you know how our trip went. Good luck if you fish this weekend.

Gentlemen, Congratulations on your success, seems as though you are fairing pretty good. Thank you for keeping us up to date on the crappie. I am so ready to be on the water, Sat. can't come quick enough. I will be checking into the A&J motel in Camdenton Friday evening. I just looked on weather.com and it looks like Camdenton and the surrounding area is to be hit pretty hard with storms tonight, some very severe.? How is water level and clarity right now by the way?..........Thanks.

Haven't seen any recent news on the James lately. What's the latest word??? By the way is there any water yet to hold any whites??? I will be down to Springfield next week on vacation and would like to chase some whites somewhere with the fly rod, any suggestions?

Just curious to know what the water condition are looking like on the Little Sac. Any water in there to fish? Anyone catching fish above Taylors bridge and the power line access? I will be down next week on vacation and would like to find some white bass somewhere.

Phil, Any additional rain down that way to bring the water up? How's she looking? Are the whites still in the Silver Creek area/Pothole area and on down. Any water in Swan and Beaver Creek to speak of and are they holding any whites??? Will be down next week on vacation and would love to flyfish for some whitebass somewhere!

Knees, Thanks for the report, keep them coming! I will be on LOZ this SAT/SUN crappie fishing and hope to have a good time. Say, have you tried fishing any docks yet? Last year around this time we absolutely wore the crappie out shooting jigs up under the docks. I would think they would be on the docks good by now, can you give me any feedback? Also, can you give me any details on what bait is working for you right now. Thanks.

I plan on being on Taneycomo during the week next week and putting my game plan together. I plan on hitting it hard for a day or two including some night fishing. Have they been on a consistent generation schedule lately? Thanks for any help.

I fished the same local lake again this weekend and the fishing was a little slower but decent. The spinnerbait bite didn't happen this time but they were on the Wiggle Wart again. I caught another good fish on the Wart, one about 4lbs.

I fished a local lake near my home this weekend. I caught 10 bass on a chart/white spinnerbait. It was a compact 1/2oz on a 1/4oz frame with tandem Nickle/Gold willow leaf blade. I was casting it up shallow and slow rolling it off into deep water but most of my fish came from 6ft of water or less. Also caught 8 bass on a Watermelonseed Wiggle Wart including one right at 5lbs. I was fishing stained water from the recent rains. Good fishing to you all. PS: I have been tying crappie jigs like mad gettin ready for a trip to LOZ here in two weeks!

Hey if anybody is thinking about deer season already I have a riflescope for sale if your interested. Brand new, never out of the box, still has stickers on it, etc. It is a Bushnell Elite 3x9x50 w/ the illuminated Firefly reticle technology. Just curious if anyone would know but I have a 14ft V0-bottom I'm working on and though I don't have any major holes I do have a couple of seams that do leak some beads of water. I had heard that there is a type of sealant made for aluminum that you can brush into seams and around rivets, etc. Anybody have any recommendations on what this might be???? Thanks.

Gentelmen, Now since we are on the subject of white bass, I just moved to south of St. Louis from Springfield. I miss the James, Beaver, Swan, Little Sac, etc. Anyway could anybody give me some information on white bass fishing on the east side of the state particularly areas to wade and fly fish. I'm thinking there has got to be some possibilites on the Black River which flows into Clearwater but I have not had a chance to research it yet.
