I understand that the Environmental impact study was complteted some time ago. In fact they conducted a couple of months ago a town hall meeting for questions and answer period. Congress has approved minimum flows but apparently hadn't alocated any money as of yet. I did hear from Gary Flippin at this years conclave that the money had been appropriated and that minimum flows would go into effect 3rd qtr of 2007. Now after saying this, "I don't beleive in anything I hear and only half of what I see". My guess, It will happen!! Tippett

Thanks Guys, I appreciate that. Seeing some very nice rain bows and a few good browns. The Browns are definatley starting their annual migration. I would love to get with you sometime Phil. One of these days my schedulewill settle down and I 'll have some time. Steve

Fishing on the White has been superb! There are some nice fish moving up towards the Dam. The Corp has limited generation to allow for some really great wading opportunities. Small midge patterns #20-22 are working good. A night throwing some streamers with a floating line will produce some visious takes. Drift float fishing is ideal now with the current flows. Tippett

brian, How is the NFOW fishing from Kelly to Blair? With the water levels at 500cfs do you think can get my drift boat under Mckee bridge? It's really good to hear that the river is really starting to fish well. I am heading to the White this weekend I have a trip scheduled, but I will make it your way soon. Tippett alias stinnetti
