My parents have a place at McCord Bend near Galena and I fish out of the Cape Fair Boat Dock. I agree there is some great fishing in the middle James River area. Lots of timber holding some nice Crappie and when the Whites are spawning you can catch a limit in no time at all!

Hello fellow fishermen. I live in the Kansas City area and my parents have a family lake place on Tablerock Lake on the James River arm. I mainly fish the James River arm up from Cape Fair to Galena for white bass making spawning runs. If anyone has any Info on when the whites are up in that area I would appreciate a heads-up. I also drive over to Taneycomo to Trout fish occasionally. Thanks!
