    I totally agreewith you, but in order to promote the sport you must accept the problems that go along with it. Thats why i try to fish at night or during the week.

    If you don't like crowds now would be great time to go. Please remember if your not keeping the fish you catch, be gentle with them and release them quick..They get just as streesed as we do if not more

    I have to agree with you.I'm done unless it cools of tremendously...Too hot in day and too many knats at night.

    I drop my lights almost as far down as i can.. I use a small hook and small split shot about 12 in. up. Drop it to bottom and crank it up at 5 turn intervals till i find them. they have been about 12 to 25 foot down.. Need to have patience finding the right depth, but once u do u should do ok.. also takes about 1 to 2 hours before the fish school.. Hope this helps Vince

    Lover your reports. Been tide to the closest pier for acouple months. the past 3 weeks all i have been catching is white bass, lots of them and a few channel cats. No crappie. Did they move?

    Been fishing hte 245 bridge for about 2 months and have caught my limit of Crappie until about 3 weeks ago. Thats when the white bass took over. Fun 4 me and my son, but not what i look for. Last night we did catch a few channel cats, one over 10lb. for my son. Any one have any idea where to drop a light and find the Crappie? Would appriciate anyideas, Thanks, Vince

    Thanks for info. If anyone knows if it is definetly open please let us know. It is a long way around if you get to the bridge and it is closed. Whodat, I also had a rough night sat. one short Crappie in my honey whole. Normally catch my limit. with some nice 12 to14 in. black crappie and a few 18 to 22 in. walleye.

    last week they had taken the towers completely down.On another note. Went fishing sat. night and dropped a light outside cedar ridge. Didn't set the world on fire, but all were nice fish we caught. 3 19in. eyes and 5 12 to 14 in. crappie. The stange thing was, when i cleaned my fish 2 of the crappie still were full of eggs. Has anyone else been seing this. vince

    Was at Stockton sat. and sun. crappie were still in 10 t0 20 feet of water at the first drop off banks. was suprised with a full moon being here tue. caught a limit with a couple slabs. was suprised with there only being one female and she had no bloody eggs. would i be right to asume there atleast a week away then? thanks

    That's what I was told. Stockton is a totally public lake. If there is no fishing by a marina that serves gas, how can they charge some one to fish that dock? If you're conducting yourself in a respectful manner live and let live.
