The Little Red (Greers Ferry) flows into the White River directly near Georgetown, AR. The White River can back the Little Red up. The Arkansas River and White River meet bascially at the Mississippi River. Actually, barge traffic on the Arkansas River accesses the White River as I understand it.
The Mississippi, White, and Arkansas Rivers are all high. The White and Arkansas Rivers will be backed up.
To answer your question (if you were asking) the White River doesn't automatticaly affect the Little Red River even though Greers Ferry is consider a part of the White River system. There is another dam on the Black River in SW Missouri, which forms Clearwater Lake, that is also considered to be a part of the White River system.
