  3. Hey all, I haven't been on the forums in a very long time but I still lurk, I was just wondering if anyone duck hunted spring river near riverton/baxter, I hunt it on the Missouri side when it all freezes but I was wondering about the big water above the dam and how accessible it is, and if its even public or what because there are some massive blinds out there!

  5. I got my first deer in mississippi yesterday, i was sittin in a tree stand and watched her for like 45 minutes, waiting for a buck to come out and only one came out because it was late in the morning. The buck was a tiny 4 point and in mississppi you have to have at least a 12 inch spread. So anyways, i shot the doe, she weighed in at 142 pounds. Oh and i shot her with a .243

  17. hey guys, ive recenly started fishing hickory in the past couple of weekends and have only caught 2 trout. Im a fly fishermen and have been fishing right around and downstream from the pedestrian bridge. So where are the fish? I walked a ways upstream by the helicopter and found more promising water by that but have yet to try it, so i get to my question should i get some boots and wade on down to the less accesible water where the trout might be hiding and what flies should i use?
