  1. Thanks for adding it to the links section. The results on the site are from Dec. Results from last Sunday (January tournament) aren't posted on the site yet.
  2. The first tournament for the 2009 season for the Table Rock Bassmasters Club was last Sunday. It was a brutal cold front after a beautiful day on Sat. Fishing was tough for most, however the top boat found them. The leaders ended up with a little over 33 lbs. for total boat weight with the individual weight ending up being over 21 lbs. for a 6 fish limit. Some of these guys really know how to catch them deep. Second place was around 14 lbs. and third was around 12 lbs. Next club meeting and draw will be the first week in Feb. with the tournament being Feb. 7. Check out our club website at Table Rock Bassmasters.com. It's still not too early to join and enjoy the company of some good guys and good fisherman. Tucker
  3. Thanks for your help. Our club does have a website it's: www.tablerockbassmasters.com. It is kept up to date fairly regulary.
  4. Doug, I sent you an email. I'll give you a call tonight and fill you in about the club if that works. Tucker
  5. I'm teaching 7th grade SS and doing some coaching. Man, a little deep fishing sounds good, however I'll be in the great state of Kansas all next week otherwise I'd take you up on the offer... maybe the week after! Since you're at Cassville you know Coach Travis Wells (great guy). He joined our club this past summer and I know he wants to learn how to spoon and grub.
  6. Yes. Students are taking finals today, then after Friday it's 16 days off! SWEEEEEET!!!
  7. Email me at tpierce @hollister.k12.mo.us, or give me a number I can call you at and I'll get you lined up with the information you'll need to join. There have been a couple others that have emailed me as well so you're not alone. Take care.
  8. Since this is a bass club we don't fish for $. Most guys join to learn from guys who have been around this lake 25-30 years. As I said before, I joined to learn how to deep fish with lighter tackle. The first time I went, I drew out a gentleman by the name of Jerry Klouse (sp?) who is in his seventies. He guided on this lake for years and has a late model Nitro but still uses a paper graph. All I have to say is that it was like taking a class on deep fishing and not having to pay for it. It was priceless. We keep points for the year end awards and also give out awards for each monthly tournament. You can also try and make the state federation team if that is something that trips your trigger. Hope this sheds a little more light on what we do.
  9. Just wanted to let those interested in joining a B.A.S.S. affiliated club on Table Rock know that we will be having a meeting on Tues. Dec. 30th at the Kimberling Inn in Kimberling City. Our January tournament to start the 2009 season will be the following weekend. It is a friendly bunch of guys (approx. 30 members) that are very knowledgable about the lake. I joined 3 years ago to learn how to deep fish and I was definately taken to school. I found out about the club and contacted them and I was welcomed with open arms. If you want more info about the meeting, email me at: tpierce @hollister.k12.mo.us By the way, my name is Tucker Pierce...take care.
  10. I've tried many football jigs and have come to the conclusion the Chompers Football is the best for hook up percentage. You can see this by comparing the hook (both gap and gage) and you will see why. If you're fishing for a check I don't see how anyone could deny using a quality hook.
