  2. Thanks Brian.
  3. I was wandering when it says that the generation is 50 does that mean one unit?If so will I be able to wade,I'm kinda new to Tany. Thanks
  4. It was almost clear and running high, some of the holes that were there last year are filled with gravel,at least at the upper end,the upper parking lot is washed out and tuff to get in but it looked like they were getting ready to fix it
  5. Had the day off today and had a itch to do some fly fishing, although crane creek is only 5 miles from my house I havent been fishing on it since March,I decided to fish the upper part of wire road, the water was down a bit but still running pretty fast from the last rains, had a hard time getting around and across but I finally found a good hole that had a few fish I could see so I snuck around and dropped a copper john in and caught a 14 incher,I guess I was so excited I was going fishing this morning I forgot my camera .I was really surprised how much water went through there from the floods, those are some really tuff fish!!! Anyway I'm so glad we are still able to enjoy those really special fish, and hope they are still around a hundred years from now for people to enjoy. God Bless, Mike
  6. I was wanting to fish below fall creek tomorrow and was wanting to know where the mouth of fall creek is.I looked on a map and seen fall creek dr and Illinois st and was wandering which one would be the best and if they are below fall creek.I am use to fishing in the trophy area and would be going down 165.Thanks
  7. I was between 1 and 2,got there at 6am and didn't catch my first fish until 10 or so then they turned on, caught all mine stripping crackle backs and caught two really nice rainbows.
  8. I will be there tomorrow,if ya see a tall feller in waders with a 9ft fly rod striping crackle backs, looking hungry because he's to stubborn to get out of the water to eat that will be me ;)Its suppose to be really windy and storms in afternoon but hey if we only fished when the weather was perfect we wouldnt get much fishin done.
  9. I was fishing Crane creek today and noticed the fish busting the surface,I was working my way upstream and saw a fly that looked like a Lt cahill,I didnt have anything to match it so I caught nothing although i tried elk hair caddis and hares ear.Could it have been a LT cahill?I didnt have any and everything I used didnt seem to get any attention,I even threw a elk hair right next to a bug i seen flowing downstream a nice size bow took the bug and left my fly alone.
  10. Hey new to the forum looking forward to read and post.I'm from Lawrence county and fish all over southern Mo.
