Had the day off today and had a itch to do some fly fishing, although crane creek is only 5 miles from my house I havent been fishing on it since March,I decided to fish the upper part of wire road, the water was down a bit but still running pretty fast from the last rains, had a hard time getting around and across but I finally found a good hole that had a few fish I could see so I snuck around and dropped a copper john in and caught a 14 incher,I guess I was so excited I was going fishing this morning I forgot my camera .I was really surprised how much water went through there from the floods, those are some really tuff fish!!! Anyway I'm so glad we are still able to enjoy those really special fish, and hope they are still around a hundred years from now for people to enjoy.
God Bless,
Mike
