  1. Doing a little transplant of BBB release fish ?. Took this girl from pb2 to a different part of the lake.
  2. Be nice to have locations in back of gravois arm and up the Osage river arm at 45 - 60 mm
  3. We had 3 boats fishing Shawnee bend area, 1 boat fishing Niangua area and another fishing around bollinger creek area. Nobody cashed a check but most had good days catching keepers. I fished the Shawnee bend area and we had 10 keepers each day, 3.73 and 3.59 were the biggest and several in 3 range. Well I found out that one of my offshore piles was holding fish, we had 4 keepers off of it and couldn't even get on it Sunday, was one boat sitting on it and we started fishing towards it and another jackass jumped right in front of us and started fishing it. Felt like washing him but that would have made me as much of a jerk as him so moved on. Had one of our guys win $500 early bird prize which was nice and another a box of jigs. Good time had for all but am wore out. Costa series this upcoming weekend and they will have some big weights I am sure. Was catching some good ones before BBB on topwater and jigs shallow.

  12. I have never stayed there but Big Ed's guide service is also good. Ed and his wife also have a bed and breakfast at 2 mm. Can look up on Internet tel: 573-964-5028 Jim Dill, Casey Scanlon, a host of Hibdon boys guide but they are all getting ready for the upcoming BFL tourney. There are plenty of nice places to stay, just depends on how much you would like to spend ?
  13. Oct 1-2
  14. They have added another weighin site at 2 mm, Point Randall Resort.
  15. We have 4 guys fishing (donating). We will split any winnings if lucky enough to cash any checks.
  16. Talking about crappie, had a crappie meal last week and when I packaged I did something different than I usually do. Instead of putting crappie fillets in freezer bag of water I bought some freezer paper like you would get your deer steaks in and just packaged in that and they did not have any freezer burn and tasted great, and I didn't have soggy water drowned mushy fillets.
  17. It is ashamed but they were doing what they loved to do. I understand a little cause I dabbled a little in dirt track racing which is certainly an adrenaline rush but being on public waters endangering others is another story. They pushed a little to much and sadly paid for it, bad deal for their friends and families.
  18. Bet that was fun! Nice
  19. It is not like that point sticks way out into the main lake, just drunkin stupidity.
  20. Exactly! He was chine walking from the very start of the course and got a lot worse towards the end as shown here, not sure what he was thinking but he must have some big cahunnas
  21. Must have been moving pretty good and got some airtime cause both lower units still attached, big rocks acted like a ramp I guess or I would think they would have ripped off or came to an abrupt stop.
  22. Boat Crashes Into Stevens Point After Bar Close LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — A boater’s evening on the water came to an abrupt end when his Formula jumped a seawall and grounded on a grassy point at the 8 Mile Marker. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jon Ray, 54, of Blue Springs, Mo., was traveling southeast on the main channel in a Formula named “Coming In Hot” when it collided with the shoreline at Stevens Point. Troopers arrested Ray for allegedly boating while intoxicated and a failure to exercise the highest degree of care in operating a watercraft resulting in an accident. The Highway Patrol classified the damage to the vessel as extensive. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
  23. This is from lake expo old plug LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — The bodies of Richard "Richie" Prince and Bradley Dunphy were recovered just before noon on Saturday, Aug. 27 after a tragic powerboat crash on Friday evening, Aug. 26. The Patrol says 49-year-old Prince and 40-year-old Dunphy were riding in a 2013 MTI, with Prince driving, when it went airborne at around 7 p.m. on Friday. Witnesses told the Patrol that the boat rolled to the starboard side in the air, struck the water, and then flipped upside down.
  24. Definitely the worst water conditions all year. I am sure plenty of boats got swamped today from what I saw. You could not have been in a bass boat on the main lake around here today. Took the wave runner to mouth of cove and watched the boats leaving the shootout and all I can say is WOW!
