I have a revo winch Gen 3 I have used three trips. It just won't fit my giant hands! I got it as a gift late last fall. It is 100% like new (maybe 150 cast) and comes spooled with suffix elite in 10#. I need $145 for this reel. It is $200 plus tax new. I will have box and pics up soon of the actual reel. Might consider grade in for new spinning reels..Shimano, Pluegers, or Revo Brett - Springfield MO text preferred 2300343

Well..should have sold the boat. ..lol No breakdowns or issues today...stayed between Indian and as far as you can go up Long Creek...three bites all day with two line touching k's in Indian. Kitchen sink and junk fishing for sure. Never had a consecutive days fishing this hard with so little action..especially in April!!!! Well...keep the good reports coming and when I read one (& the wife let's me go) I will see you back on the pond.

I usually wouldn't post a detailed report after day one of a two day derby....but here goes... If you can do it bass fishing I might have tried it today...muddy and clear water, deep, shallow, fast, slow...worst spring trip in recent memory Started out by backing into fender of another boat..no real damage 1st spot of the day started by setting hook on a fish and gutting the gears on a $200 spinning reel, reached up and grabbed line as fish made a run and cut two nice grooves in index finger...fish came off.. 2nd spot - one small 2.8 lb keeper on shakey head (only one of day) 3rd stop...huge backlash, took off line on cranking reel, thought I grabbed 12 lb and after spooling up with frozen hands..realized I put 20 on...oh well Between 3rd and 4th spot heard a click in the motor..turned out my side image transducer came off and was ate up by a 26 pitch trophy.... Got back to ramp and battery was dead on the truck... BUT....BLESSED beyond belief to be healthy, live in the ozarks, and get to enjoy a day on the lake...

Thanks for all your help on this.. I have a very simple solution that has cured all interference on all that have tried it. You need a price of high voltage protection mat like linemen use to prevent transfer of energy from the ground to them should it be energized. It is a soft rubber mat with laced copper threading about 1/8 inch thick. A link is below to show you the product. It is pricy so you will need to do like I did ... I got a scrap piece from a buddy of mine who is an electrician. Some of these don't test and are not allowed for use anymore. Most electricians or linemen will have some or can get you a peice. https://m.grainger.com/mobile/category/shock-protection-blankets/arc-flash-protection/safety/ecatalog/N-cfx You take a price and put between your transducer and motor and between the motor and hose clamp that hold the transducer on. I had zero interference after doing this and did nothing else.

Having issue with the dreaded spike between my trolling motor and new graph. I have the new echomap garmin and a nearly new digital 109 motorguide. The transducer is mounted on the trolling motor. I get a spike as show below when on variable speed. It is less on high bypass. This not isolated to garmin and I have been pleased other wise. Any ideas on how to fix this or at least make it better?? Scott at Marine Repair said it is strictly a trolling motor issue. Also, there is a wealth of information on the old Internet about this but nothing substantial. Just thought this group might be seeing same thing or have sorted this out before.

I fished these some this fall...very eratic wobble that is much wider than a wart. Sometimes this is good but not for me in colder water.. They do deflect very well off of objects, just like a square bill...they got some great reaction bites on lake o.... This is a quality product in great colors with fairly good hooks...I personally think they will be great on post spawn fish with the bluegill color.... Overall I was impressed

Fished a derby on Friday night.... Caught 12 keepers with all 12 coming in last two hours..fish were on backside of main lake points behind humps or rock piles that were on the points themselves..all fish were on the backside of these really bunched up in 14-26 feet...all caught on that secret bait...black and blue fb jig...lol...lots of solid 12 "-14" K's and SM before dark on the shot...normal places About 12:30 am we were fishing a main lake point when I heard a boat coming...I moved the boat less than a football jig cast from the bank to make sure we got out of the way. As the 30 feet deck boat rounded the bluff end, it proceeded to run between the baot and the bank...I already had the tmotor on high and managed to get baot turned into the wake....water hit me in the knees on the front of my 22 foot cobra....never had this happen at night..guy was rrally out of control... Then Saturday...skunked...only had one 14 inch smallmouth from 6pm to 1am...only bite we had....dropshot fish wouldn't even look at bait...fb fish didn't want it after dark...only time in a long time we have zeroed at night Get out the golf clubs!!

8 or 6 shouldn't matter much in my opinion. ....I use 8 for ned, shakey, etc....6 is flimsy to me...I use 8lb invisx
