Decided that this would be my next useful style of rod probably a 5 or 6 weight would be ideal. If you don't have one ideas on finding them would be helpful. I have used a simple reduction of coke a cola and toasted/roasted pecans for salmon and trout on occasion. Tho thats probably not fancy restaurant style.

Thanks I have never seen the Measure Net in rubber before. I'll get this one for myself after Christmas. I was thinking about building a few nets and really was hoping to find a raw source also. But this will do until I can find all my materials to start yet another set o projects. Thanks JJ

Welcome Leonard!! Sounds like and interesting pattern. Well that makes a total of five tiers. Lets get em in on time.

Not defending said guide, I actually have no Idea to who the offender maybe. But I have been fishing outlet alone early AM while water was up and had a guide and his young sport. Walk around to the other side and set up directly across from me and well its the outlet the fish are crowed and so are the chuckandduckers thats the way those situations are. If one doesn't like or feel that the odds weren't worth the crowd they wouldn't fish there. I don't believe that the original post was referring to the outlet exactly but the slim/shallow water right before Rebar and after what is generally considered outlet two. In these situtations I am even more considerate as I hope others are to me. When approaching the water to try avoid crowding or being crowded. But lets be realistic about up buy the dam, there is rarely a place that one could consider his own or by himself. At least not with out wading away to the far bank from the parking lot. I do feel that a guide should also teach manners to there sports/newby clients. Since they are the ones that are ambassadors to the sport in many ways. just another opinion

Doesn't seem to be alot of people jumping all over this one atm!!!!! Maybe I set the number of tiers to high around the holidays and y'all are worried about finding time to tie so many flies? So if no one objects I will reset the limit to 10 and that will make the total number of flies 21 for each tier. Is that cool with every one so far ? Anyone else have any interest ?

The Inn was closed when I went down for the Open weekend of C&R. Larrys and Sand springs where both open tho they where both full with deer hunters and My FFclub.
